The brand was launched in 1992, and the first watches were designed by Belamich and Rosillo and made by German leading watchmakers, Sinn. Bell & Ross's first watches were virtual re-issues of Sinn models and carried the Bell & Ross logo as well as Sinn's. The partnership ended in 2002, when Bell & Ross began its own independent production in their facilities La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Mint and brand new looking condition Bell & Ross Fusion Functions. The watch dates December 2007 but has seen very little wear during this time. It was purchased from authorised Bell & Ross dealers, the Watch Gallery in Barcelona, Spain in 2007. The UK retail price is £1,230 (US $2,310). Bell & Ross have designed a watch here that combines classic Swiss watchmaking style with a modern multifunctional movement offering analog and digital display. With the watch’s many functions the user has a complete time measuring instrument on the wrist. Multi functionality., reliability and elegance make this model a perfect watch to be worn on all occasions. The watch has got a quartz movement which is an ETA 988.333 operating at 32,768 HZ with 7 jewels. The movement provides an array of functions which are controlled by the crown, the function displays are in digital display windows within the dial. The functions include, alarm, chronograph, timer, day and date, seconds indicator and a second time zone display. This is the type of functionality found on the Breitling Aerospace or Breitling B1. The watch has a shock resistance to NIHS 91-10. The battery type is a “High Drain” type silver oxide 1.55 v battery with a theoretical autonomy of 35 months depending on how often the functions, in particular the alarm functions are used. The watch operates in temperatures ranging for 0 to 5 degrees centigrade. It has got a polished stainless steel case. The dial is back with appliqué hour numbers. The space 3 chronograph contains all of the technical expertise of Bell & Ross in the field of high precision micro mechanics. With it’s ingenious patented retractable telescopic crown (T-Crown system), it’s integrated pushers and it’s chronograph functions, Space 3 model provides technical specifications adapted to the extreme conditions of use experienced on a space mission. The movement is automatic with 42 hour power reserve, anti magnetic and shockproof. The functions include hours, minutes and seconds, 2 dial chronograph (60 second and 30 minute counters), date in the sub dial at the 3 position. It has a fast date correction and hour adjustment with second hand stop for accurate time setting. The case is brushed, solid and heavy high grade stainless steel with integrated pushers built into the case, designed to be used with gloves – also gives it an attractive and symmetrical appearance. Well finished and beautiful looking watch The Military 156 is designed as the name states in a military style watch. It was designed and manufactured by Sinn, to Sinn’s exacting standards and is identical to the now discontinued Sinn 156, apart for the fact that it has got Bell & Ross printed on the dial. The Sinn 156 was based on an original Sinn design, that designed to a military specification for a contract eventually won by Heuer for the German Bundeswehr. The 156 came in two versions, one with a screw on case back, and the other, the more popular military specification with a case back retained, by four grub screws. The Bell & Ross is on the latter design. It has an acrylic crystal and screw down crown. It is resistant to 10 ATM which is approximately 100 metres. The case is sandblasted stainless steel with brushed steel case back. Comes on the original leather strap but buckle looks to be a replacement. The Vintage 120 is designed as the name states in the fashion of an early period wristwatch with it’s cream dial, retro pilot style numerics and hands, leather strap and large vintage pilot style pushers and crown. It is however made to modern dimensions and specifications. It has a sapphire crystal and screw down crown. It is resistant to 10 ATM which is approximately 100 metres. The case is brushed stainless steel and it has a glass display back showing off the movement. Well designed and laid out symmetrical dial. Well finished and beautiful looking watch. The date window is at the 6 position providing an even balance. Bold and highly legible hands and numbers with 60 second indicator on dial. The chronograph functions include 12 hour elapsed timer at the 10 position, 10th second elapsed timer at the 2 position, 1 minute elapsed timer is the central second hand and 1 hour elapsed timer is the central second hand with the luminous filled pointer. The time subsidiary seconds is a the 6 position and the circular date window intercepts this sub dial all making a beautifully symmetrical and even dial layout. Brand new and unworn Bell & Ross BR01-94. The BR01-94 Instrument is for ‘professionals where every second counts’. As an instrument panel clock in a cockpit, this design has been around for a long time. However in a wristwatch format, it is a bold and daring what which is quite groundbreaking in it’s form. The watch looks identical to a cockpit clock or a rally timer complete with its back plate and fixing screws. The dial design is likewise identical to that of the cockpit clock. Whilst is it is daring and bold, the watch to date has been a huge success and there is a big demand for the BR01 watches. It is the design that has launched Bell & Ross to a much more prominent position –where many people are discussing the watch and it is getting a huge amount of media attention. It is groundbreaking watches like this that can really set things off for companies. The watch is large and substantial and a real eye catching piece. It is a stainless steel watch which is brushed steel finish. It has as screw on top plate and torque head screw on back plate. The pushers are large and flat and it has a knurled screw down crown. It is equipped with a Swiss made ETA 2894 automatic chronograph movement with hours, minutes and seconds, 12-hour, 30-minute and 60-seconds counters. Mint and virtually as new condition stunning looking Bell & Ross Demineuer wristwatch. Styled in a diver’s type watch and indeed is a divers watch at heart, the Demineur is actually intended to be a Bomb Disposal watch and for this reason is very clean cut, highly legible and has a Swiss made ETA 955.612 quartz movement with an analogue display, an anti-magnetic inner watch movement and non-magnetic watchcase. It also has a rotating bezel that has very particular graduation clearly indicating 10 minute intervals and photo-luminescent points at 12 and 6 positions. Like a diver’s watch it has got a screw down crown, it is water resistant to 200 metres and has a waterproof rubber divers strap with signed deployant buckle. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, nice brushed stainless steel case and screw on back, with large & logo on the case back, and crown. Mat black dial Superluminova luminous numbers and date at the 3 position. The watch has seen very little wear and still has the plastic sticker on the case back.
