Omega Launch new Seamaster Chronograph Watch
The Seamaster is much an under rated of the Omega product range as there has been a lot of focus on the Planet Ocean range. The Seamster however is one of the models to launch Omega into the stratosphere with its highly successful model range, and in particular the James Bond convection Seamaster. This one is a variant on the James Bond chronomaster model, slightly updated, yet with a retro look and feel to it, with is more 1970's matte blue and orange-red colour scheme. This is in contrast to the highly legible polished ceramic rotating bezel.
This watch is a proven design and is sure to be as successful as its predecessors. It is bold and bright, and an impressive handsome design. The external refinery is a reflection of the high end internals as the watch contains a co-axial chronometer rated automatic movement .
As well as the ceramic bezel, which is uni directional and sturdy, it has a 12 hour chronograph, date discreetly placed within the 12 hour sub dial at the 6 position. It has an automatic date corrector at the 10 position and helium escape valve. It has a stainless steel case, domed scratch resistant anti reflective sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 300 metres.
The watch is powered by an Omega Co-Axial calibre 3330 self winding movement. This COSC Certified Chronometer with a column wheel. The Co-Axial escapement that guarantees high precision, stability and durability ensures 52 hours of power-reserve.
