Excellent
condition Breitling Wings pilot watch in steel and gold.
It had a £380 service in 2007 at Coles, who are authorised
Breitling dealers. It is a quartz powered pilots wristwatch. This is a
regular size watch rather than an oversize watch that so many seem to be
these days. This size is decent and makes it comfortable to wear. This
is the entry level priced Breitling, but by no means entry level in
terms of quality, finish and construction.
This especially so given that it is also classed as a
professional instrument with its 100 meter water resistance (not
tested). It is hard wearing
and feels strong and substantial. The case is polished steel case with
sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating. The case has gold
accents on the bezel, and gold bezel riders with a gold crown. It has a
screw down crown giving it decent water resistance.

against an black dial, with aviator style markings and a date at the 3
position. Has a sturdy uni
directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary
number positions. Being a
quartz watch, it is deadly accurate, does not need winding up and very
reliable. The watch comes in the original box but lacks the original
paper work, but comes with the £380 service receipt. It comes on the
original bracelet with folding clasp and fliplock safety buckle . The
width is 38 mm excluding crown, and 42 mm including the crown. The

Breitling 765 Co-Pilot

Vintage, rare and very collectible Breitling 765 Co-Pilot watch with hand wound movement. The watch is working perfectly and all functions work correctly, and just come back from full service and movement overhaul. This is a classic Breitling pilot watch and is referred to as the 765 Co-Pilot, originally produced in the 1950's and this one dates to the mid to late 60’s. The watch is all stainless steel, very large and substantial and is a true instrument timepiece. It naturally has the rotating bezel which is an aviators count down bezel with sixty minute increments. The final fifteen minutes are iterated in clear five minute increments and numbered 5 down to 1 three times in three separate colour coded sections. These being red, silver and blue. It has a beautiful dial in outstanding condition, which is mat black, long baton markings and very distinctive silver sub dials in a tri compax sub dial configuration. The 60 second elapsed timer is the large sweep second chronograph hand, the fifteen minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the twelve hour elapsed timer is at the 6 position. The subsidiary seconds are at 9. This one is slightly unusual as it has a fifteen minute elapsed timer rather than thirty minute. The movement is specifically adapted for this to make chronograph readings more legible and clearer. Most unusually with this adaption, the format cis changed so that the fifteen minute hand jumps to the half minute position when the central on minute elapsed time hand passes the thirty position. This makes chronograph readings even more legible and highly accurate. It is an essential function, of any aviator from, pilot, to navigator or flight engineer. The movement whilst it has this adaption is of no problem to any watchmaker servicing the watch and it was serviced with the ease of any other hand winding chronograph prior to advertising it. The movement is hand winding Swiss made Venus 178, which is also used in the Breitling Navitimer amongst other decent quality watches. Lovely well laid out and symmetrical dial design. Curved acrylic crystal and screw on case back. The case back is Breitling signed, with the words ”Shock Protected, Anti Magnetic, Stainless Steel, Waterproof” Along with the B logo and words “Breitling, and 765 CP” It has the original large signed Breitling crown, Breitling signed movement and comes on a decent quality replacement bund style black leather strap with pin buckle. Navitimer Olympus Automatic Chronograph

Mint condition and well looked after and maintained Breitling Navitimer Olympus automatic chronograph. The Navitimer Olympus is similar to the original Navitimer, but incorporates the additional and useful full calendar functionality. It is also slightly larger in size at 43 mm. It was originally purchased at authorised UK Breitling dealers in 2002. It was serviced in 2007 by Breitling head quarters at a cost of £532 (US $851), so it is in immaculate condition inside and out. UK retail price for the replacement Navitimer Montbrialliant Olympus (similar model Navitimer with moonphase on bracelet is £6,430 (US $10,330) The Navitimer was originally introduced in 1952, the Navitimer provided pilots and air crews with a highly innovative chronograph design. For the first time, a watch featured a "navigation computer" capable of executing every calculation a flight plan requires. These include: multiplication, division, calculating ground speed, calculating miles per hour, calculating miles per minute, calculating fuel consumption, calculating rate of climb or descent, calculating the distance of climb or descent and nautical and statute mile conversion. This is a true professional instrument watch that has been adapted to today's even more strenuous requirements. Classic design with black dial and white sub dials. The watch has an attractive dial colour scheme in black and white with silver accents and hands. It has full calendar functions which include day, date, month, phase of the moon. Other functions include hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph with 12 hour elapsed time, 30 minute elapsed time, 60 secodn elapsed time and 24 hour indication of the current time. It has an automatic winding Breitling calibre 19 movement. Nice tight rotating slide rule bezel and anti reflective sapphire crystal. Watches do not come with any more functions and features as this. Comes on original bracelet. Comes in a the original box with outer box, instructions and instructions with warranty card. Instructions include instructions for the moon phase and operating the chronograph and the slide rule. It also comes with the receipt from Breitling showing the full service at a cost of £532 (US $851). Super Ocean Heritage 46

Mint and brand new looking condition Breitling Super Ocean automatic Heritage 46 automatic divers watch which a professionally rated divers watch at 2000 metres water resistance. The watch was originally purchased at UK authorised Breitling dealers in March 2008, making it just two years old when take into stock. The UK Retail price on this watch is now £2,950 (US $4,720). It comes on the original Milanese style mesh bracelet with Breitling signed folding clasp. In addition it also comes with the retro style hole punched divers style soft rubber strap, this also has a large folding clasp with double push button release. The rubber strap is sized to an 8.5 inch wrist. The rubber strap is a £300 (US $510) option which was bought separately to the watch. The total combined retail price for this watch with the strap is £3,250. (US$ 5,200). The Super Ocean line has always been one of Breitling’s most popular watches. The Heritage series calls on designs from an earlier period in watch making history and it is reminiscent of designs from the late 1960’s. This is in looks only, The case is made to modern proportions and very generous ones at that at 46 mm wide as the name suggests. In addition it is also made to today’s modern standards using the best equipment and materials available which includes the movement to make an altogether very good quality wristwatch. This one is the black dial version with polished steel case and black uni directional ratcheted rotating bezel which is a lovely combination and distinctive looking. The bezel is a retro look as well and has only the 5 minute interval markings and lacks the usual 1 minute intervals to the first fifteen minutes. This gives it a cleaner and more symmetrical look to it. Compared to the rest of the range of Breitling watches, this one is a decent value for money watch. This especially so given that it is also classed as a professional instrument with it’s 2,000 metre depth rating. It is hard wearing and feels heavy and substantial. Thick polished steel case with sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating. It has a screw down crown and screw on solid steel case back. Has luminous dot markings above polished steel batons and large luminous filled hands. There is a date at the 3 position. It is of course also an officially certified Swiss chronometer meaning that it is a highly accurate watch. Has all the paperwork. Attractive looking watch and substantial watch. Excellent condition Colt divers watch which is also a certified Swiss chronometer. It is a mid size quartz powered watch. Whilst it is mid size, it is by no means small at 38 mm wide, but just a regular size watch rather than an oversize watch that so many seem to be these days. Has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary number positions. Being a quartz watch, it is deadly accurate, does not need winding up and very reliable. The watch comes in the original box but lacks the original paper work. The box, like the majority of Breitling boxes has some damage where the hinge attaches to the box as it made out of is Bakelite and very brittle. It comes on the original bracelet as well as a black leather strap with original singed Breitling deployant clasp. The spare leather strap and deployant clasp alone costs around £180. Chronograph in 18 Karat Gold

Mint condition Breitling automatic chronograph in 18 karat gold. The watch was recently fully overhauled by Breitlign and has had some work to the bracelet by Breitling. In addition it has had a new dial and hands fitted by Breitling in 2009. It is as close to new condition that can be had for a second hand watch. It is an impressive watch, and heavy and substantial, with a very decent weight to it. This is because the bracelet links are solid gold, and it has got all of the links in the bracelet. Also the pushers and crown are 18 karat gold and not plated and even the bracelet screws are 18 karat gold. The rotating bezel and bezel riders are also in 18 karat gold. The watch is also an officially certified chronometer. Breitling have long been associated with aviation and navigational/flight instrument watches. Their watches are the choice of navigators and pilots alike around the world. This one is the Breitling Chronomat Chronometer in 18 karat yellow gold with black dial and gold hands and numerals. This is in the Chronomat family of Breitling watches and is normally very popular and one of Breitling’s best selling models. The ratchet un directional pilot bezel is gold with gold rivets against the hour markers and gold raised riders on the primary number points for easy gripping of the bezel when rotating it. It has a machined screw down crown and machined chronograph pushers. The watch has sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating and comes on the original heavy duty bracelet with fliplock safety buckle. Clean looking and mint condition dial with bold looks and discreetly placed tachometer scale on a tiered internal fixed bezel. The watch is 300 metre water resistant. Large and substantial heavily built watch. Date window at 3 and twelve hour automatic chronograph. This is an attractive yet functional and professional aviators watch. It comes complete with the original box, and relevant paperwork, and some of the Breitling service paperwork. It was originally purchased at an authorised UK dealer in 1993. Mint condition six months old Breitling Bentley Motors automatic chronograph. It was purchased form UK authorised dealers in June 2009 so just 4 months old when taken into stock. The Bentley Motors chronograph cultivates originality, but permeated by an eminently British sense of refinement and moderation. The gaze is immediately struck by the knurled finishing on the bezel, inspired by the Bentley control buttons. The case is distinguished by its imposing diameter. Breitling has combined this original design with an exclusive technical touch. The Bentley Motors chronograph features a unique mechanism known as the “30-second” type chronograph. The centre hand sweeps once around the dial in half a minute instead of the customary 60 seconds, an astonishing configuration that enables extremely accurate read-off to within 1/8th of a second. This distinctive feature is part of Calibre 25B, a movement stemming from the Breitling Chronométrie workshops and which is officially chronometer-certified, as indeed are all Breitling movements. In tribute to the automobile world, the Bentley Motors is equipped with another world exclusive feature, the “variable tachometer”, which enables one to measure average speed, regardless of the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached. The movement is a Breitling Calibre 25B, chronometer-certified by the COSC, self winding high-frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), 38 jewels. 1/8th of a second chronograph, 30-second, 15-minute and 6-hour totalisers, with date. Mint and new old stock looking condition Breitling Geneve manual winding vintage chronograph watch, dating to the early 1070’s. It still has its original finish to the case. It is a large, very substantial and imposing looking watch. The Breitling Geneve watches, like most other Breitling vintage watches are becoming very collectible. Especially with this movement. The two register Valjoux 7733 versions are easy to come across. But this one is the three register with additional 12 hour function version with the Valjoux 7736. Unlike the 2 register version, this one is a much bigger and substantial watch. It is a very attractive looking watch in a large gold plated case in immaculate condition, in a style now regarded as 70’s retro cool. It is gold plated case with champagne dial and sub registers. The dial has lovely contrasting colours with black hands as well as the black sweep chronograph hand, against the gold applied baton markers and black dial printing. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the thirty minute elapsed timer is at 3, the twelve hour elapsed timer is at 6 and the sixty second elapsed timer is the sweep second hand. Very tidy and neat case, with Breitling signed case back, Breitling signed crown with acrylic crystal. Comes on replacement very dark brown leather strap and steel buckle. Excellent condition Breitling Top Time manual winding chronograph. It has recently undergone a full service and is in perfect working order, and all chronograph functions are working correctly. This is a stunning looking Breitling dress watch with chronograph function. It comes with the original box and papers and it shows that it was originally purchased at authorised Breitling dealers, Salloways in Lichfield in 1968. Breitling signed movement, dial and case back. It has attractive colours and an eye catching attractive dial design and case. It is a dress watch with minimal dial markings, with a tachometric scale in white. The dial is silver and is in excellent condition. It has gold applied baton markings and gold hands, with slender gold chronograph and subsidiary second hands. These hands contrast neatly against the silver dial and the gold plated case. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the forty five minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the 60 second chronograph hand is the sweep second hand. Breitling signed Valjoux 7730 hand wound movement. Has extended pump pushers that are easy to operate. All functions work correctly. Navitimer Aerospace in Titanium

Excellent condition Breitling Navitimer Aerospace analogue and digital wristwatch. This is one of the original early model Navitimer Aerospace. It has got Navitimer written on the dial. The word Navitimer was later dropped, so the earlier Navitimer models are more collectible as it is a rarer model. The watch is built in titanium with gold links and bezel riders. It is a simple watch to use and all of the functions are carried out by the use of the crown. It has a wide range of functions including minute repeater (audible indication of the hour and minute), chronograph, alarm, timer, second time zone, date and day of the week. It’s large LCD digital read out and oversized hands keep the Aerospace perfectly and instantly legible under all circumstances. The case is made of titanium and the bracelet is titanium with gold secondary links. It is both lightweight, rugged and impervious to corrosion and non conductive allergies. The crystal is sapphire with an anti reflective coating and is unmarked. It has the popular dial colour which is the matte black, this goes well with the titanium. Mint condition and outstanding looking Breitling Blackbird. The discreet stealth styled Breitling Blackbird owes it’s name and looks to the US high altitude reconnaissance aircraft built largely of titanium alloy that has set practically every known speed and altitude record. This watch sets to emulate this by having a titanium appearance the way iyt is matte finished, but retains the heaviness and substantial feel as it is still made of the more popular stainless steel. Breitling have long been associated with aviation and navigational/flight instrument watches. Their watches are the choice of navigators and pilots alike around the world. The Blackbird has a rare and seldom seen satinised/brushed stainless steel case and genuine Breitling blue leather strap with Breitlign buckle. It is matte throughout which includes the bezel rider tabs, crews, push pieces and crown. It is also rare in that it has an off blue dial, in certain lights it looks more like grey or the type of blue seen under an anti reflective coated crystal. It is a nice looking colour and goes very well with the matte grey steel case and the blue strap. Breitling Navitimer Jupiter Pilot quartz chronograph with Breitling
calibre B 233 movement. The
Jupiter Pilot is fast becoming a collectors classic. It is an
outstanding watch, packed with features, and very technical highly
functional watch. It comes with the original paperwork including the
authorised dealers card, international warranty booklet indicating that
the watch was bought The Channel Island of Jersey in 1997.
Also all importantly it comes with the instruction booklet –
without this, it is pretty hard to work out how all the functions work.
It is an all stainless steel case, with sapphire crystal on the
original Breitling bracelet with signed clasp. The bracelet has a
fliplock safety buckle and flight suit extension clasp.
It is a large stainless steel case and bracelet with deep blue
dial The functions include chronograph, alarm, date, time and a slide
rule. The chronograph has a
12 hour, 60 minute, 60 second and 100th second elapsed timers.
Clever chip technology allows the dials and hands to double up
for multiple functions – for instance when setting the alarm, the hand
on the 100th second sub dial is used to set the alarm activation time,
then it returns to carry out it’s regular task.
The same is for the second hand.
When the chronograph is activated, this hand is used as the 60
second elapsed timer. When
the chronograph is finished with, the hand jumps to the exact position
it should be in as if the chronograph had never been used, not loosing
any time. The slide rule can
be sued for a plethora of functions including multiplication, division,
calculating ground speed, calculating miles per minute, calculating fuel
consumption, calculating rate of descent or climb, calculating distance
of decent or climb, calculating nautical and statute mile conversion.
These are all useful if you are navigating or calculating flight
plans. Exceptional watch.

Excellent condition Breitling Top Time manual winding chronograph. This is an lovely looking Breitling in stainless steel. Has Breitling signed movement, dial and case back. It is very retro looking in its square case with short lugs. This style of watch is very much in vogue at present with the huge resurgence in interest of the Heuer Monaco et al watches. It has attractive and lovely contrasting dial colours and an eye catching attractive dial design and case design. The watch has a distinctly sporty feel to it with its silver dial and black sub dials and functions such as the chronograph and the tachometric scale. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the forty five minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the 60 second chronograph hand is the sweep second hand. Has a nice finishing touch with a brushed radial pattern, which appears to be the original finish and unpolished. Overall a beautiful watch with clean movement and watch and the chronograph are in perfect working orders. Used but mint condition Breitling Emergency that is four years old. It is a titanium case and bracelet with black dial with digital displays on the analogue dial. The dial is black. It has got a rotating compass scale bezel and functions other than the time include 1/100th second 24 hour chronograph, count down timer, day and date programmed for 4 years, alarm, second time zone and of course the radio distress beacon. The movement is a Swiss made SuperQuartz thermocompensated quartz electronic analogue and 12/24 hour LCD digital display. It has got a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating on both sides and is water resistant to 3 ATM including with the transmitter in operation. The Breitling Emergency contains a radio transmitter for civil aviation use which broadcasts on the 121.5 MHz distress frequency and serves as a back-up for ELT-type airborne beacons. (For military users, Breitling has equipped the Emergency with a miniaturized transmitter operating on the 243 MHz military frequency.) Under normal conditions—flat terrain or calm seas—the signal can be picked up at a range of up to 90 nautical miles (167 km) by search aircraft flying at 20,000 feet (6,000 m). As of 1 February 2009, the Cospas-Sarsat Satellite System will no longer monitor the 121.5/243 MHz frequency; however, the signal transmitted by the Emergency was never strong enough to be picked up by satellite, and Breitling has announced that, as these frequencies will still be monitored by aviation, particularly during the localization phase of a rescue attempt, there are no plans to modify the signal's frequency. In an incident that demonstrates how the Emergency can be used to save lives, Reuters reports that two British pilots, Squadron Leader Steve Brooks and Flight Lieutenant Hugh Quentin-Smith, crashed their helicopter in Antarctica and were rescued after activating their Breitling Emergency transmitter watches. The two pilots were in their lifeboat when a Chilean Otter aircraft found them after homing in on signals from their watches. The Emergency is available for customers who do not hold a pilot's license, but they must sign an agreement stating that they will bear the full costs of a rescue intervention should they trigger the distress beacon. Excellent condition Breitling Shark automatic diver’s watch. This is now out of production and quite difficult to come across. This is a large, substantial, and heavy wristwatch. It is well made and designed for professional diving purposes. It is 300 metres water resistant, with a screw down crown for added water protection. It has a very sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel. The dial is very clean and sharp looking in white. It is minimalist in design, with the barest of dial markings with large primary numbers making for maximum legibility whilst diving. It has tritium luminous dial markings and hands which glows quite brightly. Has a date window at the 3 position. The bracelet is in mint condition, and is a later replacement. The bracelet has the deployment clasp which is signed, a fliplock safety buckle and a divers wet suit extension. There are plenty of links in the bracelet. All stainless steel, thick and chunky watch. It has some light marks to the bezel and some to the crystal. It has a Breitling engraved back, crown, and the “B” logo on the second hand. Overall excellent strong and purposeful watch. Comes in original bakelite box, and like every other Breitling bakelite box, the hinges are broken due to the brittleness of bakelite, outer box, and some papers including a service receipt in 2002 for over £240, serviced at Breitling UK. Virtually brand new only 2 months old when taken in to stock and hardly worn Breitling Blackbird automatic chronograph. This is the new Blackbird recently re-released due tot he popularity of the older Blackbird which was discontinued a few years ago. The appeal of the Blackbird is that it s designed to look like it is made of titanium with its matt brushed steel finish but it is made of stainless steel so that it still has the weight and substance of a large watch. The new model is upgraded over the old model to more modern larger dimensions and it is a large and substantial watch. The Blackbird is named after the US war plane of the same name which is built from titanium. Breitling have long been associated with aviation and navigational/flight instrument watches. Their watches are the choice of navigators and pilots alike around the world. This one is the Breitling Chronomat with a very rare and seldom seen satinised/brushed stainless steel case and bracelet – they are normally highly polished. It is also rare in that it has a charcoal dial, which is a dial colour not often used by Breitling. In addition adding to the rarity value, the dial markings are Arabic type numerals which are polished silver and applied. They normally have Roman numerals or baton markings. Excellent condition Colt Automatic divers watch which is also a certified Swiss chronometer. Originally purchased in January 2009 making the watch just 6 months old when taken into stock. This is the entry level priced Breitling, but by no means entry level in terms of quality, finish and construction. This especially so given that it is also classed as a professional instrument with it’s 500 metre or 1,650 feet water resistance. It is also an officially certified Swiss chronometer and comes with the relevant papers to indicate this fact. It is hard wearing and feels heavy and substantial. Thick brushed steel case with sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating. It has a screw down crown and helium escape valve. Has bright dial markings and hands against an anthracite black dial, with military style 24 hour markings beneath the primary numerals, and a date at the 3 position. Has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary number positions. Excellent condition Breitling Chrono Avenger Titanium chronograph. It comes with an original Breitling rubber strap and the watch is just over 1 year old. This is an outstanding looking watch with big proportions with a plethora of functions. It is durable and light in weight as it is made from pure titanium. Advanced quartz function chronograph. Like all Breitling watches, it is made to a high standard and is an officially certified Swiss chronometer. It is rugged and chunky looking and functional watch. It has a sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, screw down crown with a water pressure resistance to an impressive 1,000 metres or 3,300 feet. To assist with recovering from deep dives, it has a built in decompression valve to prevent pressure damage. Has a good chronograph with 1 hour elapsed time, 1 minute elapsed time, 10th second elapsed time and a 12 hour elapsed time function. The one hour elapsed time hand is a central hand. It is also used as a special 10 minute yachting countdown timer and is set to the 10 position with iterations in blue and red as it counts down the 10 minutes before the yacht race to zero. This can be sued also as a regular 1 hour elapsed timer by adjusting the position to start from zero. Has a date at the 4 position and big bold numerals and hands with super luminova luminescence.
