Breitling Shark Automatic Divers Watch

Excellent condition Breitling Shark automatic diver’s watch.  This is now out of production and quite difficult to come across.  This is a large, substantial, and heavy wristwatch.  It is well made and designed for professional diving purposes.  It is 300 metres water resistant, with a screw down crown for added water protection.  It has a very sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel.  The dial is very clean and sharp looking in white.  It is minimalist in design, with the barest of dial markings with large primary numbers making for maximum legibility whilst diving.  It has tritium luminous dial markings and hands which glows quite brightly.  Has a date window at the 3 position.  The bracelet is in mint condition, and is a later replacement.  The bracelet has the deployment clasp which is signed, a fliplock safety buckle and a divers wet suit extension.  There are plenty of links in the bracelet.   All stainless steel, thick and chunky watch. It has some light marks to the bezel and some to the crystal.  It has a Breitling engraved back, crown, and the “B” logo on the second hand.  Overall excellent strong and purposeful watch.  Comes in original bakelite box, and like every other Breitling bakelite box, the hinges are broken due to the brittleness of bakelite, outer box, and some papers including a service receipt in 2002 for over £240, serviced at Breitling UK.  Dimensions are 42 mm excluding crown, 45.5 mm including crown and 46.5 mm lug to lug, thickness is 12 mm. Breitling Navitimer 806

Vintage and highly collectible Breitling Navitimer model 806 with hand wound movement.  The watch is working perfectly and all functions work correctly.  This is the classic Navitimer originally produced in the 1950's and this one dates to the mid to late 60’s. The watch is all stainless steel, large and substantial and is a true instrument timepiece. It naturally has the rotating slide rule intended to help pilots to calculate flight plans, navigate and perform other flight or mathematical related calculations. The chronograph functions are distinguished from the timekeeping functions, as the hands are cleaner than the dial so it is possible that they could be replacements, though they are genuine Breitling. The 60 second elapsed timer is the large sweep second chronograph hand, the thirty minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the twelve hour elapsed timer is at the 6 position. The subsidiary seconds are at 9. Lovely contrasting colours on the dial with the main part being mat black, the outer chapter in silver, with silver sub dials.  The hands are luminous filled, and luminous material is still in good condition. It comes on a replacement Hirsch strap but has a genuine Breitling deployant clasp, which is off a modern Breitlign Navitimer.  Lovely well laid out and symmetrical dial design.  Dimensions are as follows. Breitling Sprint Hand Winding Chronograph

Mint condition and excellent very sought after Breitling Sprint manual winding chronograph. This watch was in it’s day as valued and highly regarded as Breitling watches are today. They are renowned for their strong and durable build quality, their innovative designs, their good looks and they are well known for their long association for timekeeping in the aviation industry. This watch is no exception. It is a handsome and strong watch with practical features. The dial is beautiful and a perfectly balanced combination of timekeeping and chronograph functions, keeping the un necessary clutter to a minimum – essential when used for professional or aviation purposes. The dial is a two register chronograph.  Has mint dial and hands and has innovative and attractive dial design.  Black dial with white printed bridge between the elliptical shape sub registers.  Sharply contrasting bright orange chronograph hands on black and white dial with white and orange tachometric/pulsations scale dial. Original signed Breitling crown and screw on case back.  Has a fixed bezel with tachometric scale on it, with base pulsations and unit per hour scale on the outer dial chapter. All stainless steel solid and heavy case. Serviced not long ago. Comes on later genuine Breitling rubber strap with Breitling buckle found on Breitling Super Ocean’s. Breitling Bentley Motors Automatic Chronograph

Mint condition and just a few months old Breitling Bentley Motors automatic chronograph. It was purchased form UK authorised dealers in June 2009 so just 4 months old when taken into stock. The Bentley Motors chronograph cultivates originality, but permeated by an eminently British sense of refinement and moderation. The gaze is immediately struck by the knurled finishing on the bezel, inspired by the Bentley control buttons. The case is distinguished by its imposing diameter. Breitling has combined this original design with an exclusive technical touch. The Bentley Motors chronograph features a unique mechanism known as the “30-second” type chronograph. The centre hand sweeps once around the dial in half a minute instead of the customary 60 seconds, an astonishing configuration that enables extremely accurate read-off to within 1/8th of a second. This distinctive feature is part of Calibre 25B, a movement stemming from the Breitling Chronométrie workshops and which is officially chronometer-certified, as indeed are all Breitling movements. In tribute to the automobile world, the Bentley Motors is equipped with another world exclusive feature, the “variable tachometer”, which enables one to measure average speed, regardless of the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached. The movement is a Breitling Calibre 25B, chronometer-certified by the COSC, self winding high-frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), 38 jewels. 1/8th of a second chronograph, 30-second, 15-minute and 6-hour totalisers, with date. Breitling Chronomat Automatic Chronograph in 18 Karat Gold

Mint condition Breitling automatic chronograph in 18 karat gold. The watch was recently fully overhauled by Breitlign and has had some work to the bracelet by Breitling. In addition it has had a new dial and hands fitted by Breitling in 2009. It is as close to new condition that can be had for a second hand watch. It is an impressive watch, and heavy and substantial, with a very decent weight to it. This is because the bracelet links are solid gold, and it has got all of the links in the bracelet. Also the pushers and crown are 18 karat gold and not plated and even the bracelet screws are 18 karat gold. The rotating bezel and bezel riders are also in 18 karat gold. The watch is also an officially certified chronometer.   Breitling have long been associated with aviation and navigational/flight instrument watches.  Their watches are the choice of navigators and pilots alike around the world.  This one is the Breitling Chronomat Chronometer in 18 karat yellow gold with black dial and gold hands and numerals.  This is in the Chronomat family of Breitling watches and is normally very popular and one of Breitling’s best selling models.  The ratchet un directional pilot bezel is gold with gold rivets against the hour markers and gold raised riders on the primary number points for easy gripping of the bezel when rotating it.  It has a machined screw down crown and machined chronograph pushers.  The watch has sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating and comes on the original heavy duty bracelet with fliplock safety buckle.  Clean looking and mint condition dial with bold looks and discreetly placed tachometer scale on a tiered internal fixed bezel.  The watch is 300 metre water resistant.  Large and substantial heavily built watch.  Date window at 3 and twelve hour automatic chronograph.  This is an attractive yet functional and professional aviators watch.  It comes complete with the original box, and relevant paperwork, and some of the Breitling service paperwork. It was originally purchased at an authorised UK dealer in 1993. The current replacement model is the Chronomat Evolution and this replacement model in 18 karat gold on a bracelet retails at £24,000 (US $38,400). Breitling Old Navitimer Automatic Chronograph

Good condition Breitling Navitimer automatic chronograph.  Introduced in 1952, the Navitimer provided pilots and air crews with a highly innovative chronograph design. For the first time, a watch featured a "navigation computer" capable of executing every calculation a flight plan requires.  These include: multiplication, division, calculating ground speed, calculating miles per hour, calculating miles per minute, calculating fuel consumption, calculating rate of climb or descent, calculating the distance of climb or descent and nautical and statute mile conversion.  This is a true professional instrument watch that has been adapted to today's even more strenuous requirements.  Classic design with black dial and white sub dials. The watch has an attractive dial colour scheme with black and white with white accents and white lettering. Breitling Colt GMT Automatic Chronometer - Divers Watch

Good condition Colt Automatic divers watch which is also a certified Swiss chronometer.  Originally purchased in 2004.  This is the entry level priced Breitling, but by no means entry level in terms of quality, finish and construction.  This especially so given that it is also classed as a professional instrument with it’s 500 metre or 1,650 feet water resistance.  It is also an officially certified Swiss chronometer and comes with the relevant papers to indicate this fact.   It is hard wearing and feels heavy and substantial. Thick brushed steel case with sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating.  It has a screw down crown and helium escape valve.  Has bright dial markings and hands against an anthracite black dial, with military style 24 hour markings beneath the primary numerals, and a date at the 3 position.  Has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary number positions.  The Colt II automatic is powered by Breitling's workhorse COSC certified caliber 17 movement @ 28,000 v.p.h (25 jewels). Comes in the original box with all relevant papers and documentation, chronometer certificate, guarantee card. The width is 38 mm excluding crown, and 40 mm including the crown. Breitling Aerospace in Titanium

Mint condition Breitling Aerospace analogue and digital wristwatch in titanium with gold links and bezel riders.  It is a simple watch to use and all of the functions are carried out by the use of the crown.  It has a wide range of functions including minute repeater (audible indication of the hour and minute), chronograph, alarm, timer, second time zone, date and day of the week.  It’s large LCD digital read out and oversized hands keep the Aerospace perfectly and instantly legible under all circumstances.  The case is made of titanium and the bracelet is titanium with gold secondary links.  It is both lightweight, rugged and impervious to corrosion and non conductive allergies.  The crystal is sapphire with an anti reflective coating and is unmarked.  It has the popular dial colour which is the matte black, this goes well with the titanium. It is light in weight and a durable watch. Breitling Geneve Hand Wound Chronograph

Mint and new old stock looking condition Breitling Geneve manual winding vintage chronograph watch, dating to the early 1070’s. It still has its original finish to the case. It is a large, very substantial and imposing looking watch. The Breitling Geneve watches, like most other Breitling vintage watches are becoming very collectible. Especially with this movement.  The two register Valjoux 7733 versions are easy to come across.  But this one is the three register with additional 12 hour function version with the Valjoux 7736.  Unlike the 2 register version, this one is a much bigger and substantial watch. It is a very attractive looking watch in a large gold plated case in immaculate condition, in a style now regarded as 70’s retro cool. It is gold plated case with champagne dial and sub registers. The dial has lovely contrasting colours with black hands as well as the black sweep chronograph hand, against the gold applied baton markers and black dial printing. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the thirty minute elapsed timer is at 3, the twelve hour elapsed timer is at 6 and the sixty second elapsed timer is the sweep second hand. Very tidy and neat case, with Breitling signed case back, Breitling signed crown with acrylic crystal. Comes on replacement very dark brown leather strap and steel buckle. Breitling Blackbird Automatic Chronograph – Certified Chronometer

Virtually brand new only 2 months old when taken in to stock and hardly worn Breitling Blackbird automatic chronograph. This is the new Blackbird recently re-released due tot he popularity of the older Blackbird which was discontinued a few years ago. The appeal of the Blackbird is that it s designed to look like it is made of titanium with its matt brushed steel finish but it is made of stainless steel so that it still has the weight and substance of a large watch. The new model is upgraded over the old model to more modern larger dimensions and it is a large and substantial watch. The Blackbird is named after the US war plane of the same name which is built from titanium. Breitling have long been associated with aviation and navigational/flight instrument watches.  Their watches are the choice of navigators and pilots alike around the world.  This one is the Breitling Chronomat with a very rare and seldom seen satinised/brushed stainless steel case and bracelet – they are normally highly polished.  It is also rare in that it has a charcoal dial, which is a dial colour not often used by Breitling.  In addition adding to the rarity value, the dial markings are Arabic type numerals which are polished silver and applied.  They normally have Roman numerals or baton markings.  The Chronomat is normally a popular watch and is made even more so with this unique collectible iteration.  The bracelet is the Breitling pilot’s bracelet with fliplock safety clasp.  It has a screw down crown, sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating and sturdy uni directional ratchet operated aviation bezel.  Date window at 3 and twelve hour automatic chronograph.  This is an attractive yet functional and professional aviators watch. Breitling Chrono Avenger M1 Titanium Chronograph, with Breitling Rubber Strap

Excellent condition Breitling Chrono Avenger Titanium chronograph. It comes with an original Breitling rubber strap and the watch is just over 1 year old.  This is an outstanding looking watch with big proportions with a plethora of functions.  It is durable and light in weight as it is made from pure titanium. Advanced quartz function chronograph.  Like all Breitling watches, it is made to a high standard and is an officially certified Swiss chronometer.  It is rugged and chunky looking and functional watch.  It has a sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, screw down crown with a water pressure resistance to an impressive 1,000 metres or 3,300 feet.  To assist with recovering from deep dives, it has a built in decompression valve to prevent pressure damage.  Has a good chronograph with 1 hour elapsed time, 1 minute elapsed time, 10th second elapsed time and a 12 hour elapsed time function.  The one hour elapsed time hand is a central hand.  It is also used as a special 10 minute yachting countdown timer and is set to the 10 position with iterations in blue and red as it counts down the 10 minutes before the yacht race to zero.  This can be sued also as a regular 1 hour elapsed timer by adjusting the position to start from zero.  Has a date at the 4 position and big bold numerals and hands with super luminova luminescence.  The dial also has a sun compass function Has a 10 hour ratchet operated rotating bezel, with bezel rider tabs for easy gripping.  Knurled crown and cross pattern pushers also for easy gripping.  Has a full size bracelet with divers extension clasp and fliplock safety buckle.  Does not come with the box but has all other relevant paper work including instructions and chronometer certificate.  Comes with all boxes and papers including Breitling carry case as per the picture.  It also comes with a photocopy of the original receipt showing it was purchased in may 2008 - just over 1 year ago form main agents for £2,340. Breitling Super Ocean Automatic 5,000 feet Divers Wristwatch – Officially Certified Chronometer

Mint condition and always popular Breitling Super Ocean automatic divers watch which is also an officially certified Swiss chronometer. The Super Ocean has always been one of Breitling’s most popular watches and this is the yellow dial version with brushed steel case which is a lovely combination and distinctive looking. Compared to the rest of the range of Breitling watches, this one is a decent value for money watch.  This especially so given that it is also classed as a professional instrument with it’s 5,000 feet or 1,525 metre depth rating.  It is hard wearing and feels heavy and substantial. Thick brushed steel case with sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating.  It has a screw down crown and helium escape valve.  Has bright luminous dial markings and hands against a brushed black steel dial, and a date at the 3 position.  Has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary number positions.  It is of course also an officially certified Swiss chronometer meaning that it is a highly accurate watch.  Has all the paperwork including the chronometer certificate, boxes and signed warranty card.  Attractive looking watch and substantial watch. Breitling Navitimer Aviastar Automatic Chronograph

Breitling Navitimer Aviastar chronograph. The Aviastar is now a very collectible and desirable Breitling pilot’s watch, and is regarded as a cult classic amongst Breitling collectors.  It has had a complete service and overhaul in 2004 at a cost of US $930 (GBP £620). This is shown on a service receipt that comes with the watch. As a result of the overhaul, the watch is in first class and new looking condition and in perfect working order. The Aviastar watches are not very easy to find as people tend to hang on to them.   Has an extra thick hardened mineral crystal which has an anti reflective coating, the crystal is unmarked.  Beautiful tiered dial with tachometer bezel sloping downwards to a central sunken dial with further sunken sub dials.  This gives the dial an appealing three dimensional look to it.  Beautiful black and white dial colour scheme.  It is bright, crisp and clean dial markings with matching bi directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with 60 minute markings.  This is typical of a pilot’s style bezel.  Stainless steel case, good dimensions with thick body, and long angular lugs.  Date at the 3 position.  As expected the watch is working perfectly and the movement is based on a Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph.  Unlike many Breitling watches, this one is not over the top, it is more subtle and restrained in the watch design. It comes one  a good quality replacement brown leather strap but retains the original Breitling signed pin buckle. It has the original Breitling signed crown and comes in the original Bakelite box, original instruction booklet and stamped warranty card indicating it was purchased in the USA in 1996.  Also comes with the correct Aviastar instruction booklet and of course, with the service receipt for the overhaul mentioned above. Breitling Top Time Manual Winding Chronograph

Good condition Breitling Top Time manual winding chronograph.  This is a stunning looking Breitling dress watch with chronograph function. Breitling signed movement, dial and case back. It has attractive colours and an eye catching attractive dial design and case.  It is a dress watch with minimal dial markings, with a tachometric scale in white.  The dial is silver and is in excellent condition. It has gold applied baton markings and gold hands, with slender gold chronograph and subsidiary second hands.  These hands contrast neatly against the silver dial and the 9k gold filled case. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the forty five minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the 60 second chronograph hand is the sweep second hand.  Breitling signed Valjoux 7730 hand wound movement.  Has very attractive extended pump pushers that are easy to operate.  All functions work correctly.  Comes on replacement brown leather strap.  Overall a beautiful watch with clean movement and watch and the chronograph are in perfect working orders. Breitling Top Time Manual Winding Chronograph

Excellent condition Breitling Top Time manual winding chronograph. This is an lovely looking Breitling which is gold plated with bark or fabric effect case. Has Breitling signed movement, dial and case back.  It is very retro looking in its square case with short lugs. This style of watch is very much in vogue at present with the huge resurgence in interest of the Heuer Monaco et al watches. It has attractive and lovely contrasting dial colours and an eye catching attractive dial design and case design. Whilst it is primarily a dress watch, it does have a sporty feel to it, and certainly has the sporty functions such as the chronograph and the tachometric scale. The dial is silver and is in excellent condition. It has gold applied baton markings and hands. These hands contrast beautifully against the black sub registers, with their white markings, and the red sweep chronograph hand. The subsidiary seconds are at 9, the forty five minute elapsed timer is at the 3 position and the 60 second chronograph hand is the red sweep second hand. Has a nice finishing touch with a machined, fabric pattern on the case, and nice angled, flat and square pushers. Mint condition Breitling Navitimer automatic chronograph.  Introduced in 1952, the Navitimer provided pilots and air crews with a highly innovative chronograph design. This particular one with this dial configuration is now discontinued and is a sought after model. For the first time, a watch featured a "navigation computer" capable of executing every calculation a flight plan requires.  These include: multiplication, division, calculating ground speed, calculating miles per hour, calculating miles per minute, calculating fuel consumption, calculating rate of climb or descent, calculating the distance of climb or descent and nautical and statute mile conversion.  This is a true professional instrument watch that has been adapted to today's even more strenuous requirements.  Classic design with black dial and white sub dials. Excellent cnine months ago from UK main agent.  Compared to the rest of the range of Breitling watches, this one is a decent value for money watch.  This especially so given that it is also classed as a professional instrument with it’s 2000 metre or 6600 feet depth rating.  It is hard wearing and feels heavy and substantial. Thick brushed steel case with sapphire crystal which has an anti reflective coating.  It has a screw down crown and helium escape valve.  Has bright luminous dial markings and hands against a brushed black steel dial, and a date at the 3 position.  Has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel with riders at the primary number positions.  It is of course also an officially certified Swiss chronometer meaning that it is a highly accurate watch.  Has all the paperwork including the chronometer certificate, boxes and signed warranty card.  Attractive looking watch and substantial watch.
