Outstanding Glycine Lagunare 300 metres professional divers watch. It is very strong, large and durable and built to survive inhospitable under water working conditions. The dial, like many of the Glycine watches is minimalist in appearance, has huge numbers, baton markings and hands for instant under water or low light visibility conditions. The dial marks and hands are white contrasting sharply off the mat black dial. It is a solid stainless steel case, with screw on display case back showing off the ETA 2824-2 movement. It has a brushed steel finish to the bezel and top. The sides and back are polished steel. Screw down crown with double O ring allowing for the 300 metres water resistance. The bezel is not ratchet operated, but locks into position by using the locking crown at the 4 position. Has a large luminous dot on the bezel. This locking system is something just that little bit different from the average (and the majority of divers watches). Outstanding watch – big and chunky. The strap is high quality black leather. The Lagunare Divers Chronograph is a brand new addition to the Glycine range of watches. It has received outstanding reviews from the Swiss and worldwide critics, and has been billed as the "Big 9" due to the large number 9, being the only numeral on the dial. This is a large and substantial watch, bigger than the average large watch, and is built to high standards and specifications, with revered Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement which is decorated, with a signed rotor, etched movement and blued screws. It is big and heavy and really not for the weak in wrist. It has outstanding true professional features and due to these and it’s size can be regarded as a professional diving watch. It is water resistant to 300 metres, has a screw down crown and pushers, so is totally impervious to water. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal front and back. Very sturdy, but easy to operate uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel and bright luminova luminosity. Has a beautiful black minimalist design dial for easy legibility. Has a date window at the 3 position, the thirty minute elapsed timer is at 12, the twelve hour elapsed timer at 6 and the sixty second chronograph elapsed timer is the sweep second hand with lovely contrasting red tip.
