The Junghans Solar TEC watch is designed in typical Germanic style with a minimal feel to it. It has a contemporary feel where the design of the watch plays as important a role as the technical features and functions of the watch. Like all Junghans watches, it is constructed to high standards. The case is attractive looking PVD coated all stainless steel in mat black finish. The bracelet is a matching mesh all stainless steel PVD coated in mat black finish with is adjustable using the sliding clasp. Has a hardened mineral crystal and is water resistant to 3 bar. Symmetrical and well balanced dial design with no un necessary dial clutter. The watch is solar powered and does not need a battery. The watch has a high performance energy store and can work for 4 months in darkness once fully charged. Sunlight or artificial light penetrates the light sensitive dial to solar cells, which convert light energy into electrical energy which is then used to drive and control the movement. Unusual blue grey tint to the dial which is the special light sensitive dial and is this colour to optimise the attraction of light. Has a date display at the 6 position. Made in Germany. It has a contemporary feel where the design of the watch plays as important a role as the technical features and functions of the watch. Like all Junghans watches, it is constructed to high standards. The case is angular and stylish. It is all stainless steel which is sandblasted to give a matt almost titanium look to it. Has a hardened mineral crystal and is water resistant to 10 bar. Symmetrical and well balanced dial design with no un necessary dial clutter. The watch is solar powered and does not need a battery.
