CWC British Military chronograph.  This was until recently the RAF issue pilots watch. (the current issue is now a quartz watch).  It has an asymmetrical stainless steel case with screw back in dull grey finish.  Unusual very distinguishable chronograph sub dial configuration, with the constant seconds at 9, the 30 minute elapsed timer at 12 and the 60 second sweep chronograph centre hand.  This is an uncluttered, plain, but highly functional watch, indestructible built to last with extremely tough case, crystal, strap and movement which will endure the toughest of conditions.  It has a black dial with tritium luminous markings, date window at 3, and fixed bars for the strap.  It has military ordnance numbers stamped on the back.  Dimensions are 40 mm across, 38 mm top to bottom (12 to 6) and 45.5 mm lug to lug. Lug spacing is 19 mm.  The movement is a Valjoux 17 jewel manual wind, calibre 7765.  Timekeeping is excellent and to the highest of Swiss standards.  Supplied on NATO strap in box with instruction booklet. Un issued quartz CWC Army issue watch with ETA quartz movement.  These watches used to have a battery hatch, but the 2000 model has a snap on back.  The battery has a 5 year life and is water resistant to 5ATM.  The luminous markings are Lumibrite.  It is a heavy stainless steel watch, very rugged and tough built to survive the most extreme of conditions, sweep second hand, black dial. Stocker & Yale brand new manual wind mechanical watch.  This is the manual wind version of the Stocker & Yale Sandy 490 and Sandy 590 watch - which is a US Government military issue watch.  This watch was issued and used extensively in the Gulf war and by the CIA.  It is no longer in production. .  It is a rugged black nylon composite case with aluminum protective bezel and black dial.  The face has 24 hour markings, H3 and Nuclear Propeller Markings. It is illuminated with tritium glass vials (Tritium is an isotope of hydrogen that glows without any outside help) marking the hours and the hands. These glass tubes are very bright and glow for approximately 15 years and glows 20 times brighter than an ordinary luminous watch. .  Watch has 17 High Beat ETA movement, hacking feature, with Helsolite hard glass crystal. Stocker & Yale manual wind mechanical watch.  This was bought as a used watch, but it is hard to see that it has been used at all. Overall rated at 99% as there are no marks on the strap, case or crystal.  This watch is the manual wind version of the Stocker & Yale Sandy 490 and Sandy 590 watch - which are US Government military issue watch.  This watch was issued and used extensively in the Gulf war and by the CIA.  I it is no longer in production.  It is a rugged olive drab colour (OD) nylon composite case with aluminum protective bezel.  The black face has 24 hour markings, H3 and Nuclear Propeller Markings. It is illuminated with tritium glass vials (Tritium is an isotope of hydrogen that glows without any outside help) marking the hours and the hands. These glass tubes are very bright and glow for approximately 15 years and glows 20 times brighter than an ordinary luminous watch. .  Watch has 17 High Beat ETA movement, non hacking feature, with Helsolite hard glass crystal.
