To compliment the Charlie range, NBY Has added the Short Flight and Long Flight automatic chronographs. This one being the Long Flight. Like the original Charlie this too is a bold, beautiful and extraordinary design, absolutely stunning, clean fresh and bright automatic chronograph. Like the original Charlie, It gives great delight in seeing brand new design coming out that is like nothing ever created before and this NBY Charlie Chronograph does exactly that. It is bold and brash using daring characters and colours, but something that is appealing attractive and striking. The watch is very masculine in design and stature. It has character and demonstrates innovation by the maker as well as the wearer of such a watch. The design is that of an aircraft instrument, adapted to a wristwatch, where there are very large and bold numerals and hands with blue sweep second hand and seconds markings. The Long Flight as it's name suggests is intended for timing of longer periods of time Due to this fact it has a twelve hour elapsed timer at the 6 position as well as a thirty minute elapsed timer shown at the 12 position as well as the regular sixty second elapsed timer which is the large sweeping blue second hand. Attractive and symmetrical dial design with the main hour indicators intercepting the chronograph sub registers in a natural and balanced manner. Mat black dial. Day and date at the 3 position. The case is solid stainless steel with steel screw on back which contains picture of jet aircraft breaking the sound barrier. The case is brushed steel giving a mat effect, with a polished back. It has a screw down crown and is water resistant to 10 bar, which is approximately 100 metres. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, super luminova luminous system and a Swiss made Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement. The leather strap version comes with a spare rubber strap, ultra lightweight blue aluminum strap changing tool, with two spare spring bars, instruction booklet/guarantee card, attractive curved box and outer box. The Short Flight as it's name suggests is intended for timing of short periods of time It is a chronograph but does away with the un necessary longer timing dials if they are not going to be used. Instead it has a 60 second elapsed timer indicated by the blue sweep hand, and a thirty minute elapsed timer which is indicated by the subsidiary dial at the 6 position. The main time subsidiary seconds is indicated by the constantly moving second hand at the 3 position. Design innovation inverts the movement so that the buttons do not dig into the wrist when wearing the watch - also popular for left handed people. This means that the watch is intended for use whilst driving as well as flying. The dial is mat black with black day and date wheels at the 3 position.
