Omega Seamaster 200 "Banana" - Original Box + Papers - Omega Serviced
Mint condition Omega Seamaster 200, commonly referred to as the Omega Banana due to its distinctive dial. It was serviced by Omega in July 2015 at a cost of £427 and comes with the service paperwork. It comes with the original box and papers and the warranty shows that it was originally purchased form authorised Omega dealers, Kemp and Son, The Horsefirar, Bristol on the 3rd July 1972. The Banana is a rare and highly collectible Omega watch, they are not often seen and certainly not with the original box and papers, in addition the return to Omega for the service has authenticated the complete originality of the watch. It has a dial rarely seen on Omegas which is yellow and grey and a red and black bezel, also rarely seen. The hands and plots are lovely evenly faded. It has a barrel shape case and the original bracelet with plenty of links, suitable for around an 8 to 8.5 inch wrist. It has the original screw down Omega signed crown, screw on case back with Seamaster logo. It has an automatic Omega calibre 1565 movement which is naturally working well and keeping good time for a watch of this age. Dimensions are as follows: width is 41 mm excluding crown and 45mm including crowns/buttons, lug to lug is 45 mm, and the thickness is 12 mm.
