quality and appeal is apparent from the outset. Square watches are making
a big resurgence and it is not difficult to see why they are popular –
this one especially as when on the wrist it shouts out a statement by the
owner - style, money and quality. This one is not only a square watch, it
draws its inspiration form Art Deco, and has very distinctive Art Deco era
features such as very angular case, tiered angled lugs, narrow edged case
giving maximum dial space, beveled back. The back is also held down by
four screws, which are cleverly set into the lugs, and typical Art Deco
dial design with sunken subsidiary seconds dial. It is well proportioned,
well finished and whilst slender and elegant looking it is a real work
horse. It has surgical stainless steel case, screwed in strap bars, high
quality Shell Cordovan leather strap, Rhodium plated Nomos in house built
Alpha hand
wound movement and heat treated blued hands and screws.
Lovely finished highly polished case. It has a beautiful silver plated
dial with lovely contrasting tempered blued hands, slender numbers and
baton markings. It has a super hard scratch resistant sapphire crystal
which can only be scratched with objects as hard as diamond. The back is
polished solid stainless steel. Signed stainless steel buckle, comes with
