Very good condition Omega Speedmaster automatic, recently serviced. The Omega Speedmaster automatic is the later variation on the famous Speedmaster Professional Moon watch. This model is referred to as the reduced due to the fact that it is slightly smaller than the moon watch. It is also has an automatic winding movements which is more practical for everyday use. The watch needs little introduction as it is born from one of the most famous watches in the world. It has pedigree, is well bred and has a name that allows it to rise above itself. However, a watch like anything, cannot survive on the reputation of it’s forebears. It has to possess it’s own qualities and survive on it’s own strength, wit and charm. Indeed this watch does exactly that. It is beautifully proportioned, well laid out, perfectly balanced, and encapsulates all of the features that the professional moon watch passed on to it. The dial is in a tri compax design, with the subsidiary seconds at 3, the twelve hour elapsed timer at 6, the thirty mint elapsed timer at 9, and the 60 second timer is the sweep hand. Omega Speedmaster purchased in June 2003, in very good condition. This is possibly one of the most famous watches ever made as it has a historical association with NASA and space travel. It has also gained legendary status which in attributed not only to it’s success in space as a professional instrument, but simply due to the fact that it is a beautiful looking watch, which is durable and practical, and can be worn on any occasion. This is whether traveling in outer space or worn with a tuxedo, or worn at a football match. The Speedmaster passed all of NASA’s stringent testing when they were selecting a watch for their space missions in the 1960’s. The other would be watches crumbled half way through testing. The other watches included some of the big name brands still around today. The Speedmaster however passed all of the tests and continued to operate as normal. This was with no special modifications as all of the testing candidates were purchased from a jewelers store in Texas. The watch had to pass all of the extreme testing for the good reason that during space travel, it would be subjected to the environments that were simulated during the tests. This being outer space, the most extreme and hostile environment known to man. Some of the conditions it required endurance was to survive massive acceleration, compression, extreme and instantaneous temperature and humidity changes, amongst more. It is true to the original design with manual winding mechanical movement, plexi crystal, and solid steel back. The back is engraved with "Flight qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" and "The first watch worn on the moon" A real piece of watch making history. Good condition Omega Constellation quartz calendar watch, which dates to the to the early 1990’s. The watch is all stainless steel and has the original full size stainless steel bracelet. The case and bracelet design are very distinctive and instantly recognisable as an Omega Constellation with its horizontal linked bracelet, integrated looking bracelet to the case, and Roman numerals engraved into the fixed outer bezel. The bezel has a design which looks like it is clamped on to the watch, which again is distinctive and very Constellation looking. It has got an attractive looking silver dial and a well balanced layout which is even and symmetrical. The watch has hours, minutes and seconds and the sub dial at the 3 positions shows the date of the month and the sub dial a the 9 position shows the day of the week. These functions work correctly. The hands are attractive looking in blued steel. It has got a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and the bracelet has got a push button folding clasp. It is a high quality automatic watch which is desirable to own and a pleasure to wear. The dial is the rarer multi coloured dial with the main part of the dial being in grey colour with bold luminous numbers. The price has now risen and these now cost £2,800 (US $5,600). The watch has the useful additions to the original Speedmaster of the date placed at the 6 position as well as a sapphire crystal. It is in excellent condition and rated as a professional divers chronograph, and like the wristwatch is also an officially certified Swiss chronometer. And like it’s little brother, it is also a hugely successful and popular chronograph watch. It is a very large and substantial watch, which is thick set, large in stature and but not too heavy in weight. It is made from pure titanium and has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel, screw down crown and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The dial colourings are the all popular blue dial with matching blue bezel and wavy pattern on the dial. Has a helium escape valve at the 20 position for decompression purposes when diving. This is the first James Bond watch to be equipped with the technically advanced co-axial escapement. This is the Omega caliber 2500 officially certified chronometer. Mint condition Omega Seamaster 120 quartz diver’s watch. The watch has seen very little wear and has been worn just a few times. This model was the “other Seamaster” that for many years ran along side the James Bond model. It was however not as expensive, had smaller proportions, and was sporty looking, but was not a true divers watch as it lacked the rotating bezel. Never the less, it was a very successful model for Omega as it was a watch that combined sporty looks with style. It could therefore be worn with a suit, casual clothes or for sport including swimming. This is a beautiful and sought after wristwatch, as not everybody likes the true divers watches with rotating bezels. It is all stainless steel case and bracelet and stunning polished silver dial with wave pattern on the inner circle of the dial. It has got hollow blued steel hands with luminous dot markings at the tips, with hour marks in the primary positions. Has a screw down crown and is water resistant to 120 metres, with sapphire crystal. Has the large Omega seamonster logo on the rear. Excellent condition Omega Seamaster automatic chronograph. This watch is the big brother to the James Bond Seamaster automatic watch. It is in excellent condition and rated as a professional divers chronograph, and like the wristwatch is also an officially certified Swiss chronometer. And like it’s little brother, it is also a hugely successful and popular chronograph watch. It is a very large and substantial watch, which is thick set, large in stature and but not too heavy in weight. It is made from pure titanium and has a sturdy uni directional ratchet operated rotating bezel, screw down crown and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The dial colourings are the all popular blue dial with matching blue bezel and wavy pattern on the dial. Has a helium escape valve at the 20 position for decompression purposes when diving. The movement and watch are withstanding, robust and purposeful making for an all rounder that can be worn for all occasions. The movement is the reputed and reliable Swiss made 25 jewel Valjoux 7750, the mainstay for the majority of Swiss made chronographs produced today. There is a minimal amount of marks and wear the case and clasp, from normal use, and does not detract from the overall mint condition of the watch. Mint condition Omega Seamaster stainless steel watch purchased November 2006 and just 2 months old when taken into stock, it has got some wear marks to the bracelet clasp in the 2 months it has been used, but nothing that will not polish out. It also comes with a genuine Omega rubber divers strap. It is the slightly more functional and utility looking black dial version. The sister of this watch of course it the blue dial James Bond version. This watch is an officially certified Swiss Chronometer. The Omega Seamaster Professional Divers watch is rated to 300 metres and can be of course used for professional purposes. It has very attractive polished black wave pattern dial and rotating bezel, where the bezel is the same colour as the rest of the case and bracelet. Mint condition Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch 35 year anniversary edition. The watch has hardly been worn and was purchased three months ago in January 2005. This is limited edition number 186 out of 3,500. The Limited edition 35 year watch distinguished itself from the original Moon Watch by its unique dial colour scheme, as it is a silver dial with black sub dials, and nicely set off against the black tachometer ring. This calls upon a much earlier 1960’s colour scheme. . It also has a unique sapphire crystal case back upon which the Apollo 11 mission patch is glazed in colour. The case back ring also bears the inscription “Apollo 11 35th Anniversary Limited Edition” as well as the limited edition number 0186/3500 in this instance. The limited edition status is also confirmed by a subtle inscription below the Omega Speedmaster Professional name on the dial, mentioning merely the date of the Apollo 11 landing “July 20, 1969” in red. IT also comes with a certificate of authenticity showing the limited edition number. This is possibly one of the most famous watches ever made as it has a historical association with NASA and space travel. Mint Condition Speedmaster Michael Schumacher automatic chronograph. This is the speedmaster that has everything going for it. It is a watch that is no longer made as it was an expensive one to produce and not economically viable to make any more. It has a n automatic chronograph based on the Valjoux 7750 which is the world standard for automatic chronographs. The movement has been modified by Omega to incorporate a split second timer or a feature know as a “rattrapante” This has got two sweeping chronograph central second hands which can be are operated independently of one another for timing a secondary event. If this feature is not required, just a single chronograph hand can be used. It has a sapphire crystal, 12 hour chronograph recorder and attractive carbon fibre dial, with bold contrasting hands and numbers. The watch is a certified Swiss chronometer and as such comes with the relevant COSC certification as well as all other papers and documentation. It also comes with the inner and outer boxes, a replacement leather strap with genuine Omega buckle as well as the original steel bracelet. It is a different variation than the traditional Seamaster, in that it has a GMT hand on it which can be independently set. This is useful for cross time zone travel, calculating flight plans, or simply needing to know what the time is in another country. The GMT hand rotates the dial once every 24 hours and therefore has a 24 hour rotating bezel. The bezel also indicates day and night as it is part silver and part black.
