Excellent condition Omega Speedmaster automatic chronograph Limited edition in the Olympic collection. This one being Los Angeles 1932 edition.  It has got a minty clean looking white dial with large black numerals, and red chronograph hands. It also has a very large red logo and Omega word printed on the dial. This may seem excessively large, but was the style in the 1930’s to make a large logo. This model is a very popular version. It is has an automatic winding movement which is more practical for everyday use – this is the Valjoux 7750 and strong and reliable movement which is the world standard for automatic chronographs. The watch needs little introduction as it is born from one of the most famous watches in the world. It has pedigree, is well bred and has a name that allows it to rise above itself. However, a watch like anything, cannot survive on the reputation of it’s forebears. It has to possess it’s own qualities and survive on it’s own strength, wit and charm. Indeed this watch does exactly that. It is beautifully proportioned, well laid out, perfectly balanced, and encapsulates all of the features that the professional moon watch passed on to it. The dial is in the typical Valjoux design, with the subsidiary seconds at 9, the twelve hour elapsed timer at 6, the thirty mint elapsed timer at 12, and the 60 second timer is the sweep hand, and date window at the 3 position. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal.  Tachometric scale on outer bezel for measuring speed over a given distance. Comes on genuine Omega steel bracelet, original boxes and papers including the unstamped warranty card. Dimensions are: width is 38.5 mm excluding crown, 41 mm including crown and 44 mm lug to lug and thickness is 14 mm OME 353. Price is £995 or US $1,595

Brand new and unused condition Omega Speedmaster, looks like a new old stock watch, with older style 633 bracelet. This is possibly one of the most famous watches ever made as it has a historical association with NASA and space travel. It has also gained legendary status which in attributed not only to it’s success in space as a professional instrument, but simply due to the fact that it is a beautiful looking watch, which is durable and practical, and can be worn on any occasion. This is whether travelling in outer space or worn with a tuxedo, or worn at a football match. The Speedmaster passed all of NASA’s stringent testing when they were selecting a watch for their space missions in the 1960’s. The other would be watches crumbled half way through testing. The other watches included some of the big name brands still around today. The Speedmaster however passed all of the tests and continued to operate as normal. Excellent condition Omega Seamaster automatic divers watch. The watch was serviced in 2007 and has a receipt for £150 for the service. Overall in excellent condtion with only minor wear, mostly to the under bracelet and clasp area from normal wear. Another Omega watch that is regarded a cult classic and has also reached legendary status. I was originally purchased in 1998 form authorised Omega agent in Switzerland. It is immensely popular and hugely successful, and a watch that has brought Omega back to the forefront of the big name brands. Watches like the Seamaster are often more reliable and accurate than many of the other big names, and are about half the price of those other brands. This is a hugely successful watch popularised by the James Bond character as portrayed by Pierce Brosnan. It is indeed worthy of it's commercial success, not by the fact that it is a James Bond watch, but by virtue of the fact that it is indeed an outstanding, high quality professionally rated diver’s watch. The Omega Seamaster Professional Divers watch is rated to 300 metres and can be of course used for professional purposes. It has the most popular blue wave pattern dial and matching blue rotating bezel. It is a heavy and substantial build, with sturdy uni directional rotating bezel. Super strong and scratch resistant sapphire crystal, helium escape valve for high diving pressures, screw down crown for water resistance, date function and solid stainless steel case and bracelet, with divers wetsuit extension. This is an outstanding watch. It comes with original box, outer box and all papers. Dimensions are: width is 36 mm excluding crown, 40 mm including crown and 43 mm lug to lug and thickness is 11 mm. Three weeks old and barely used Omega Seamaster Professional 1,200m/4000ft, also known as the “Ploprof“ which is an abbreviation for PLOngeur PROFessionnel, which is the French translation of the words “Professional diver”.  The original customer bought it and after 3 weeks of owning it decided that it was too big for him. There is a 6 month waiting list for the watch with Omega retailers and UK retail price is £4,800 (US $7,720). This watch is a magnificent reproduction of the original Omega Ploprof built in the 1970’s. This time is upgraded to double the depth rating of the original Ploprof, and the overall quality and durability has increased as well, this is mainly due to modern and more precise engineering standards. The watch and is one of the most sought after and collectable of all Omega watches.  It is an ultra-resistant and super waterproof automatic watch for professional divers. Monoblock case with screwed crown, protected by a locking nut at nine o'clock, bi-directional notched bezel with locking system controlled by a push-button (red button at right). It was used by Commander J. Cousteau during a series of experiments at depths of around 500 metres.  It has an Omega calibre 8500 self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement for greater precision stability and durability. Free sprung-balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, automatic winding in both directions to reduce winding time. Visible bridges and the oscillating weight are decorated with exclusive Geneva waves in arabesque. It has a power reserve of 60 hours and has stop seconds and quickset date facilities.  The crystal is a cratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.  The rotating bezel is secured in place an impossible to move unless the large orange button is engaged to release the safety catch. When the button is pressed, the bezel can br rotated in both directions with a sturdy sixty clicks. Being a 1,200 metre watch, it has a helium escape valve for safe decompression. The time cannot be accidentally altered due to the locking nut. The watch is also a certified Swiss chronometer. As can be seen from the pictures it is a large, sturdy and substantial diver’s piece of equipment.  This type of watch is referred to as an instrument watch and no truer word here as the Ploprof is certainly a professional diver’s instrument due to it’s durability weight and non conventional shape.  Worn on the wrist for everyday use however, is not out of the question.  It is not so large that it is out of the ordinary, but is certainly an eye catching and conversational watch.  This one has a beautiful black dial with contrasts very nicely against the large orange minute hand.  This hand is so coloured due to the harsh visibility issues at deep depths.  .  This can be regarded as an extreme watch for extreme sporting or professional diving.  Comes on a the Omega sharkproof bracelet. Ref. OME 349. Price is £4,095 or US $6,695

Mint condition Omega Seamaster Professional Divers GMT watch rated to 300 metres. The watch was purchased in 2003. This is a hugely successful watch popularised by the James Bond character as portrayed by Pierce Brosnan. It is indeed worthy of it's commercial success, not by the fact that it is a James Bond watch, but by virtue of the fact that it is indeed an outstanding, high quality professionally rated certified chronometer. This is an outstanding watch. It is a different variation than the traditional Seamaster, in that it has a GMT hand on it which can be independently set. This is useful for cross time zone travel, calculating flight plans, or simply needing to know what the time is in another country. The GMT hand rotates the dial once every 24 hours and therefore has a 24 hour rotating bezel. The bezel also indicates day and night as it is part silver and part black. The bezel is b direction and ratchet operated. The crown is screwed down and the crystal is scratch resistant sapphire. Has a date at 3, full size bracelet with hidden deployment clasp, screw on back with large Omega Seamonster logo, wave pattern, and the words "Seamaster" and "50 years". Attractive wave pattern black dial. The watch comes with box outer box and instruction booklet and all cards including warranty card dated in 1999.  Dimensions are: width is 42.5 mm excluding crown, 45 mm including crown and 47 mm lug to lug and thickness is 13 mm.
