Oris TT3 Grand Prix – Limited Edition

Oris TT3 Grand Prix, brand new when
coming into stock at just one day old. It is a limited edition and
limited to only 1,800 pieces. The significance of 1,800 is that this is
multiplication if the 18 Formula 1 race circuits across the world. This
one is number 1,690 out of 1,800. The Oris TT3 Grand Prix is the
ultimate race track companion. The TT3 Grand Prix Limited Edition has
been specifically designed with the motor sport enthusiast in mind. With
high tech style and High-Mech quality it’s all set to be a new
champion. The 18 race tracks of the 2008 Formula One season are printed
discreetly in grey on the black dial to make it the ultimate race track
companion. The pictures have been taken to pick out the text, in reality
the text is more subtle. The
case is a multi-piece titanium case with minutes scale fixed bezel. It
has got long extended swiveling lugs onto the rubber strap. The strap is
reminiscent of Formula 1 race car tyres. It has got applied luminescent
numerals. The dial is printed with the names of the 2008 Formula 1
circuits on a carbon dial, polished dial. The hands are polished nickel
with luminescent inserts, screwed-in case back, see through case back,
curved sapphire crystal. The watch is water resistant to 10 bar which is
approximately 100 metres. Has a large and functional looking non screw
down crown. The movement is
a Swiss made 25 jewel Oris 635, base ETA 2836-2 vibrating at 28’800
A/h, 4 Hz. Centre hands for hours, minutes and seconds, individual date
and day windows, instantaneous date and day, date and day corrector,
fine timing device and stop-second hand for accurate time setting. The
winding is Automatic winding, bi-directionally rotating red rotor.
It has got a very comfortable soft silicone rubber strap which is
made more comfortable by the presence of the swiveling lugs so it fits
easily and comfortably around the wrist. It has got a double push button
signed titanium folding deployant clasp with small buckle, the clasp is
easy to adjust on the rubber strap. It comes in the standard Oris
presentation box, it was originally purchased in 2009, so just two years
old. The UK retail price for the watch is £1,000 (US $1,600).
Dimensions are as follows: Width is 44 mm excluding the crown, 48 mm

Excellent condition Oris TT automatic sports wristwatch purchased. Oris are an established Swiss watch manufacturer and have long been associated with quality watch making since 1904. They have been an innovative company, and highly successful in the mid range, and one of the few manufacturers that you will still see in the high street jeweller that focus solely on mechanical rather than quartz mechanisms. This watch is truly unique, and there is no other watch out there that looks like this. It is a homage to the Audi TT, also an innovative design and one of the few concept cars that made it to the production line to sell as quickly as the most popular roadsters available today. The whole design looks like the TT with the short, sharp curved lugs, the curved case, and the screw on back which emulates not only the disc brakes, but is identical to the Audi dashboard dial surround and the fuel cap steel surround. The watch dial is similar to the dashboard instruments and the high quality solid and sturdy steel bracelet links are also reminiscent of the Audi TT curves. Has a push button quick release deployant clasp. The crown is screwed down and it has a curved sapphire crystal, and mineral glass display back. This one has an attractive, utility looking matte black dial with yellow date chaptering, twelve hour inner hour markers, and other accents and logo all in yellow. The hands and main numeral markings are white, with the sub second hand and date indicator hand in red. These all contrast nicely against each other. It has a calendar in the outer chapter and the day of the month is indicated by the large hand with the red tipped crescent. Mint condition Oris XXL wristwatch. The watch is worn just a few times and looks almost new. It is the XXL model, which is the most popular of the modern Oris watches, and this one is the pick of the XXL range. It is a large and substantial looking watch and has an imposing presence on the wrist and is in keeping with the modern style of larger watches. It has a black dial with luminous numerals and polished steel accents and sliver luminous filled hands. The date window is above the six position which does not detract from the symmetry of the dial by replacing the number six. It has an internal fixed sloping bezel with the 60 second markings on the bezel. The watch has an automatic Oris refined 25 jewelled automatic movement with glass display back. The movement is actually a Swiss made ETA 2824-2. It is water resistant to 30 metres and has a hard and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Used but mint and new looking condition Oris World Time automatic wristwatch The watch has been seldomly worn and well looked after. Oris are an established Swiss watch manufacturer and have long been associated with quality watch making since 1904. They have been an innovative company, and highly successful in the mid range, and one of the few manufacturers that you will still see in the high street jeweler that focus solely on mechanical rather than quartz mechanisms. It has an ingenious mechanism to enable the user to have a clear and distinctive view of a second time zone. This time zone can be set in an instant by using the pushers. The Watch has a main time function with the large set of hands which work in the same way as any other watch. The subsidiary dial at the 9 position contains the subsidiary second hand which is associated to the main clock. The subsidiary dial at the 3 position has a separate clock showing a separate time zone. There is a small window at the 9 position of this clock which is displayed in navy blue or silver to indicate day or night in the second time zone. The hour hand of the main time zone can be instantly advanced or regressed at an hour a time by depressing the advance button at the 4 position or the regress button at the 7 position. This is a mechanical operation and has a feel to it similar to pressing chronograph buttons on a mechanical chronograph. Attractive deep blue dial with the sub dials in slightly different tone of blue to distinguish them from the main dial. It has got a Swiss made 25 jewel Oris caliber 690 movement. Oris started making Chronoris sports stopwatches in the 1970’s to compliment the Formula One race teams. Now the legendary watch is back combining the allure of motor racing with the technology of the modern High-Mech watches. The watch is individually numbered to guarantee authenticity. It also has another very innovative features, the innovative screw lock crown. This is a locking system rather than a screw down system. This is easier to operate, it is quick and very secure. The crown is large for easy operation. The Chronoris has a chronograph movement which is based on the Swiss made 25 jewel Valjoux 7750 movement. Used but mint condition Oris TT1 racing drivers limited edition wristwatch. This is an excellent design and well thought out watch and an essential part of any racing or watch enthusiast’s collection. The watch is endorsed by Scottish racing driver Allan McNish. Manufactured during the 2002 F1 race season, this watch spots the Oris patented High-Mech movement, signified by the red winding rotor. It was produced in a limited series of 1000 watches, and this one is number 343/1000, as indicated on the hand marked certificate. It is a chunky stainless steel case characterised by the winding crown being at the 9 position instead of the usual 3 position placement. This position guarantees optimal security without irritating the back of the hand. It provides comfort especially when hands are angled when driving. Also useful for left handed people as well. The case is engraved with the emblem of Allan McNish as well as the limited edition number of 343. It is fitted with a black rubber protective top ring and curved scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The black dial features the Allan McNish name below the Oris logo as well as a scarf in the tartan of the McNish clan. It is water resistant to 100 metres, and unusually but attractively placed day and date at the 6 position one the dial. Has a glass display back showing the red winding rotor. This one is a very attractive watch with a classic style design reminiscent of the early era of the Art Deco period in the early 1930’s. It is a polished steel case in mint condition minor swirls from occasional use. The case is curved and tiered in a tonneau shape which is typical of this Art Deco period. Mint condition and looks like it has never been worn Oris hand wound mechanical wrist alarm Oris have a long history and have been associated with quality watch making since 1904. This one is a very attractive watch with a classic style design reminiscent of the early era of the 50’s and 60’s. It is a gold plated case in mint condition without any marks on it. The back is solid steel and is screwed down. Attractive silver dial with gold luminous fill hands and gold dial markings with gold sweep second hand and red alarm set hand. The crystal is acrylic and likewise in perfect condition. The watch has two separate winding crowns, one to wind up set the alarm and the other to wind up the watch and set the hands. The alarm works absolutely accurately and is in perfect condition. The alarm is very loud and is an impact mechanism with a tiny hammer rapidly vibrating against a gong. It makes a very loud buzzing noise and vibrates lightly. It is enough to wake most people up from a deep sleep. The movement is one of the best wrist alarms ever made, the AS 418 made by the AS company – now incorporated in part of the ETA group.
