As new condition Porsche design new old stock stainless steel automatic winding wristwatch. The condition appears to be new old stock and is in 98% condition. This watch was manufactured by Orfina in 1980, to the design of the Porsche company. Orfina were the original company used by Porsche for their watch designs. This later went to IWC and is currently Eterna. This particular model is the original and cult classic 1970’s Porsche design watch, and was designed by the legendary Ferdinand Porsche himself – the man who gave us the best known sports car in the world, the Porsche 911. The watch is a beautiful and masterful watch, with sweeping and curving lines, the dial is clean and minimalist in design bringing a pure functionality without un necessary clutter. The watch is striking and a pleasure to wear. Being of stainless steel construction, it is durable, strong and solid and heavy in weight. Mat black dial with superbly contrasting red sweep chronograph hand. Hardened mineral crystal, Porsche design logo on dial, case back and PD logo on deployment bracelet clasp. The watch has got a Swiss made 25 jewelled ETA 2836-2 with day date feature. The day and date function is at the 3 position. Uncluttered and minimalist design. Comes on the original Orfina bracelet with the original carry pouch and undated Porsche Design warranty card with ETA instruction booklet. Porsche design watches are leading edge watches in terms of, looks, functionality, construction and sheer style. The company was founded by Ferdinand Porsche, a design guru, who designed not only cars, but many other stylish everyday items. They only manufacture the cars, the other items they leave to manufacturing experts in their relevant field. The watches for instance are made by Eterna, one of the oldest established Swiss watch making companies, who were responsible for many innovations such as the five ball bearing automatic winding rotor, an innovation that every watch company uses today. The dial is styled on the dashboard instruments of the Porsche 911 sports car. It has a sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, screw down crown, screw on case back and is water resistant to 100 metres. Has a date at the 4 position, genuine original black silicone rubber strap with signed titanium PD pin buckle. It has a quartz precision movement with 5 stepper motors and a frequency of 32,768 Hertz or vibrations per second. Its functions include a totaliser to 1/10th second at the 2 position. A twelve hour totaliser at 10 position. Sub dial for seconds at 6 position. Red chronograph seconds hand at center. Timing functions: start/stop and split (cumulative intermediate times). Stunning looking watch, and one that anybody would be very proud to sport on their wrist as it is the culmination of avant garde styling, world class construction and a racing pedigree which is the envy of any other motor manufacturer. Mint condition Porsche Design P11 automatic wristwatch on steel bracelet. This watch was manufactured by Eterna, to the design of the Porsche company. This particular model is fashioned in a more contemporary design and typical in Porsche feel, with a minimalist, yet bold and contemporary feel to it. This is seen within the clean lines, cross hair dial, horizontal linked bracelet , positioning of logos and the lack of numbers on the dial. The watch is a beautiful and masterful watch, with sweeping and curving lines, the dial is clean and minimalist in design bringing a pure functionality without un necessary clutter. The watch is striking and a pleasure to view. Like the Porsche 911 car, this is a watch that is sleek and stylish. The case is stainless steel with a solid steel screw on back. Mat black dial with superbly contrasting red sweeping hand. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, black date wheel and screw down crown allowing 100 metres of water resistance (not tested). The bracelet is original to the watch and has the PD logo on the clasp. It is a double push button butterfly deployant clasp. Mint condition appearing to be new old stock and nearly new condition Porsche Design wristwatch made by IWC. The watch is constructed from pure titanium which has been PVD coated to the upper side, leaving the back which comes into contact with the wrist in pure titanium which is anti allergenic. This watch was manufactured by IWC in the 1990’s, to the design of the Porsche company. Orfina were the original company used by Porsche for their watch designs. This later went to IWC and is currently Eterna. IWC being the more eminent of the three contractors, and the IWC Porsche Design watches are most highly prized by collectors of IWC and Porsche Design watches alike. The watch is a beautiful and masterful watch, with sweeping and curving lines, and a contemporary feel to it. the dial is clean and minimalist in design bringing a pure functionality without un necessary clutter. Spectacular looking latest model and brand new in the box and never worn Eterna Porsche Design titanium chronograph. This is the latest current model and is a well regarded. It is the natural evolution from the original sweeping line Porsche Design watch. It is bigger and bolder, more rounded with contemporary looking case with traditional looking features such as the long lugs. Very handsome looking dial as it is based on the Porsche car dashboard instruments, hence the name given to it, the Dashboard – a pedigree they can use to optimum use. The case and bracelet are made to high specifications from grade 2 pure titanium. It has a mechanical movement which is an automatic winding ETA calibre 2894-2 The dial is a striking looking metallic dark grey in colour, a shade or two darker than the titanium case, and the sub dials are black. It has white hands and dial markings and a sharply contrasting sweeping central 60 second chronograph hand. It has a date at the 4 position and a tachometer scale around the outer edge. It has a curved sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating on both sides, screw down crown, machined ”knurled” pushers for good grip and is water resistant to 100 metres. It has a hollowed out winding rotor which is fashioned against a Porsche disk brake. The rotor blades are made from extremely strong titanium combined with black-coated tungsten. The sapphire crystal back reveals the exceptional rotor system. It has a titanium bracelet with double push button quick release butterfly clasp which is signed.
