His name appears on the paperwork. The watch is a V series prefix purchased from Edinburgh main agents in November 2008, and was 6 months old before coming into stock. The Deep Sea has superceded the traditional sea dweller and has been upgraded in many respects. The size has increased significantly and the watch is huge at 43 mm excluding the crown. It was purchased in 1990, and will have been one of the last Rolex models sold with a plexi crystal. A wonderful example of the true classical Oyster watch that made Rolex the most famous watch makers in the world. It is the most straight forward Rolex, the least copied, and the one that is instantly recognisable as the Rolex classic. Has a beautiful silver dial with silver applied baton markers which match the stainless steel case, making for style minimalism, and the “less is more” feel to this watch. Has the smooth bezel and the Oyster bracelet, again signifying a noble and classic styled Rolex. Large Rolex crown logo at 12 and Rolex signed winding crown. Mint condition Rolex Explorer 1 dating to 1999. This is a model 14270 and is the latest in the line of the hugely successful Explorer models. It comes with the box, wallet, booklets and chronometer certificate which is stamped by the UK Rolex Headquarters, Bexley in Kent. The watch is in outstanding condition and has seen very little wear. It is another Rolex watch needs no introduction as like the Submariner, it's a living legend. It is an officially certified Swiss Chronometer and was associated with the 1953 Sir Edmund Hilary expedition to the top of Everest. The Explorer was worn by Sherpa Tenzing, whilst Sir Edmund wore a Smiths Everest. It is a handsome watch that can be worn for business or leisure, with the classic dial configuration of just the 3, 6 and 9 numbers with the triangle at 12. The numbers are painted on the dial with the white gold outlines to the numbers. Comes on a solid link steel Oyster bracelet with all of the links, deployment clasp, sapphire crystal, screw down crown, Rolex automatic movement, Rolex crown logo on the crown. This is a handsome watch and good to see one in such outstanding condition. It has been well looked after, hardly worn and still has the plastic seal on the case back.
