Brand new with 2 year warranty Steinhart Nav B-Chrono II. The name Steinhart has a long history in the Swiss Watchmaking valley. The name goes back to the early 1900s when Simon Steinhart supervised and ran the watch manufacturer Schlenker and Kienzle. Guenter Steinhart, the owner of Steinhart studied architecture and engineering in Munich, Germany, Steinhart’s philosophy is to make well engineered, and good looking watches at economical prices. Steinhart are high quality watches made in the Jura region of Switzerland. This pilot watch Nav. B-Chrono II black is another chronograph made by Steinhart with the tried and tested Swiss made 25 jewel ETA Valjoux 7750 13 ¼ automatic movement. The series of Nav.B-watches II is completed by this watch with its well crafted stainless steel case with stainless steel casse whcih is brushed steel to the sides and a polished steel fixed bezel and the large historical pumpkin crown. The Nav.B-Chrono II is a true to form watch an is a good representation of the traditional early aviation style timepieces. The sapphire glass with anti-reflecting coating on the interior side and the dial with silver hands make it a function and practical looking watch whilst keeping good looks at the same time. The design of the dial should be particularly pointed out. All Arabic numerals are fully readable on the dial and the two sub-dials on 6 and on 9 were used twice, so the sub dials are made large and do no intersect the numbers. Functions include hour and minute hands silver with super-luminova white. Second hand silver, with super-luminova white. 12 hour, 30 minute and 1 minute elapsed timer chronograph and a day/date at the 3 position. It has got a water resistance of 5 ATM. A comparable pilot watch with such an excellent price/performance ratio will be hard to find. Dimensions are as follows.
