Ventura V-Tec Sigma Swiss made unique digital watch with EasySkroll operating system. The watch is brand new and unused with 2 year factory warranty. Ordinary quality-watch cases consist of a forged main body and an inexpensively stamped case back. The V-Tec Sigma case has two forged main parts, a very unusual and costly construction. The water resistance requires, that both parts are individually precision machined with numerically controlled robots, so that the parts eventually will perfectly match in the assembly. The sheer size of the V-Tec Sigma case is a serious challenge; with an overall size of 59.5 mm, it surpasses an ordinary watch by more than a fifth. While such typical cases require three forging-passages, the making of a Sigma needs a total of eight passages in 50-ton forging presses. Instead of a mere O-ring, the Sigma case is sealed by a specially formed high-tech gasket. The construction, tooling and production of the V-Tec Sigma case is a considerable technical challenge, requiring substantial investments in tooling and manufacturing costs.  The creator of this extraordinary timepiece is Paolo Fancelli, an accomplished industrial designer from Switzerland. His Sigma concept is based on the idea that the watch should be worn sideways on the wrist, so that the eye of the owner aims directly toward the display; thus the organic form of the V-Tec Sigma.  The Sigma was just announced when the producers of the international motion picture, Bangkok dangerous» contacted Ventura to ask for a sample which would play an important role in the movie.
