Daniel Jean Richard Bressel Automatic Chronograph

Mint condition and hardly used Jean Richard Bressel automatic chronograph dating to circa 2005.  Daniel Jean Richard is a sister company to Girard Perregaux and was was born around 1665 in La Sange, today a small Swiss village nestled in the famous watch making region between La Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds. He was a very talented silver smith making jewelry and silver objects.  A jewelry dealer who saw his work asked him to repair an expensive watch.  Not only did he repair the watch without any training in watch making, but he managed to build an exact replica of the watch from memory over a year later.  In the 1990s the company was revived by the SoWind Group who also own Girard Perregaux.  Today and from the beginning, the idea was to produce simple, affordable, yet high quality watches song high quality stainless steel rather than precious metals, robust cattle leather straps rather than expensive crocodile or ostrich, and using strong and durable movements.  All of the savings made in these areas are invested in the construction of the watch to produce best quality timepieces. It has a black dial with silver hands and number/baton markings with white and red dial print.  The case is polished stainless steel with screw on solid steel case back. The movement is an ETA 51 jewel modular movement, it has a curved sapphire crystal.  Comes on replacement strap with the original black strap and deployant clasp. No box or papers. Dimensions are Width including the crown is 43 mm, width excluding the crown is 47 mm, lug to lug is 51 mm and thickness is 14.5 mm
