Tudor Heritage Black Bay

Mint new condition Tudor Black Bay Heritage model. Originally purchased in 2015 It comes complete with box and papers. The stamp on the card shows it was supplied by the Aurum Group. The brand was originally created by Rolex in 1946 as a more affordable version of Rolex watches built to the same exacting quality and standards but without the in house Rolex movement, but with high quality third party movements, and this one being an ETA 2824.2 Tudor needs no introduction, they are the sister company to Rolex and owned by Rolex. They make watches to a similar specification and standard as Rolex but made more affordable. They have recently had a drive in re releasing some of their older designs with great success. This one is a stunning looking watch and with it a short production run, something of a collectable already and probably become a future classic with prices on watches like this retaining and escalating in value. The Black Bay in particular draws on a wonderful synthesis of historic Tudor design cues, from the big crown to the snowflake hands and blue and silver colour palette. Has the large screw down crown and sapphire crystal with solid case back. It also has the thicker bracelet with the ETA movement. The newer Black Bay replacement has the no as popular riveted bracelet and an in house movement. The in house movement is perhaps tantalising, but if this watch ever needs servicing or a repair in the future, the ETA parts are commonly available and can be worked upon by any qualified watchmaker. Sapphire crystal, large screw down crown with Tudor logo, water resistant, black dial, snowflake hands and uni directional divers bezel with blue bezel insert. Dimensions are as follows. Width is 41 mm excluding crown, 44 mm including crown, lug to lug is 49 mm and thickness is 13 mm
