Fortis Flieger Automatic Pilot ETA 2924-2

Just been serviced Fortis Flieger automatic wristwatch dating to around 2004 and keeping good time. Model reference 595.10.46.1 Fortis have previously been suppliers to the Russian Cosmonauts, and the Russian Mig pilots. The Fortis wristwatch is a large watch and designed for maximum visibility in a pilot style. This one is the most popular model with sandblasted steel case and black dial with luminous dial markings, with sharply contrasting red sweep second hand. Date window at the 3 position which is quickset using the crown. No box or papers, some wear marks to the case and bracelet from usual use.
