After more than 10 years making musical watches, the time has come for the Boegli watch manufacture to make a round shaped case. With the Grand Opéra  collection, we wanted to create a classical range which would hold the attention from a very large part of the complicated mechanical watch lovers. The very special dial made on 3 levels with screws and “Côtes de Genève” plate gives to the watch a real masterpiece feeling. Through this fine decorated plate, you can admire the beautiful mechanical musical movement with its 17 notes keyboard and polished drum. The time zone with the calendar display is this time at 9 position, hours minutes, seconds and date which is presented on a deeper level than the main dial. Boegli have developed a revolutionary pusher for this new model. Once you press on the pusher at 5 O’Clock you will hear the crystal pure sound of for example “The Magic Flute” from Mozart.  If you press again, the melody will stop. When you turn the watch, you will see through the sapphire glass on the case back the new movement module developed especially for this model and decorated with “Côtes de Genève”. there is a folding thumb lever on the crown that flips out to help to wind it up. When not in use, the lever folds back flush with the crown To underline the particularity of this collection, it is equipped with a genuine alligator leather strap with a butterfly buckle. Last but not least, it’s a limited edition of only 99 numbered pieces.
