CWC British Military Chronograph

Used mint condition CWC British Military chronograph with manual winding Valjoux 7765 movement. This is a civilian, non military issue. CWC watches were issued to the British military throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. The RAF model was slightly different to this civilian model. It has an asymmetrical stainless steel case with screw back in sandblasted stainless steel finish. Unusual very distinguishable chronograph sub dial configuration, with the constant seconds at 9, the 30 minute elapsed timer at 12 and the 60 second sweep chronograph centre hand. This is an uncluttered, plain, but highly functional watch, indestructible built to last with extremely tough case, crystal, strap and movement which will endure the toughest of conditions. It has a black dial with tritium luminous markings, date window at 3, and fixed bars for the strap. It has military ordnance numbers stamped on the back. Supplied in CWC tin.
