The new 415 ES combines the timeless design of the original with modern materials and technologies, remaining true to the brand's rich history while meeting today's demands. A classic that continues its history in the present. The 415 ES was first presented in the mid 1960s and was available in various versions. Around 60 years ago, Hanhart introduced two special features for the first time in its history: a chronograph with a bi directional rotating bezel with 60 minute graduations and the striking, sporty wing logo with which the company modernized its external appearance.
The dial of the 415 ES bears the historic "wing logo", a symbol that Hanhart has used as an official logo since the 1960s to rejuvenate and modernize its appearance. This is the first time in over 40 years that this special logo has been used on a Hanhart wristwatch.
The Hanhart standard with regard to the accuracy of the watches is as unique as the watches themselves. Each individual movement is tested and adjusted by highly trained watchmakers at the Hanhart manufactory in Gütenbach. The Hanhart specifications for rate accuracy are 0 to +8 seconds per day on average over 6 positions. This corresponds to the same deviation as +-4 seconds, but Hanhart does not allow a minus second in the main positions. The German virtue of punctuality dictates that wearers of Hanhart watches should not be late because of the timekeeping device on their wrist. In addition, a maximum delta of 10 seconds is permitted between the positions.
