IWC GST Alarm IW3537 in Titanium

Mint condition IWC GST Alarm model reference 3537. Comes complete with box, papers, warranty card, undated and polishing cloth. IWC have been making specialised and high quality watches in Switzerland since 1868. Each IWC watch is hand finished, and made to the highest of standards, where attention to detail is of essence. The case is made to the usual exacting IWC standards, and the bracelet is one of the best wristwatch bracelets ever made, with its unique detent sprung push button sizing system, making it easy for any user to size their own bracelets, yet maintaining the bracelet integrity and security, in addition the bracelet is well designed and handsome looking at the same time. It comes with the brass sizing tools though one of the pins is broken. IT can still be used though on the bracelet, and the one with the pin in place for removing the pin. The dial is black with tritium markers and tritium filled hands. The hands are the hours, minutes, central sweep seconds and the alarm indication hand which is the large red tipped hand. There is a date at the 3 position. Has curved sapphire crystal. The watch has two distinctive large crowns, one is a screw down crown for time setting and hand winding the movement. The movement is automatic and does not need hand winding. This crown is marked with the IWC fish logo. The upper crown is used for hand winding the alarm function, this is not automatic and requires winding, it is not screw down and is indicated by a bell symbol. The alarm is loud and clear and the signal goes off on cue. The vibration of the alarm can also be felt on the wrist when the alarm is activated, and it is a pleasure to feel and hear such a tactile watch. The alarm can be deactivated by pulling the alarm crown out. The movement is an automatic 917 calibre movement which is based on the Jaeger LeCoultre Calibre 916. This handmade automatic movement with 220 parts and 22 jewels operates to 28, 800 vibrations per hour, and has a power reserve of 44 hours. The movement is shock resistant and anti magnetic .
