Jacques Monmat Vintage Chronograph

Mint condition and new old stock looking Jacques Monmat hand winding chronograph. Not the best known brand in the world, but there were many Swiss micro brands in the 1960’s and 70’s who employed traditional Swiss watchmaking skills and utilising the best movements and materials that were available to the Swiss industry. This one has a Valjoux 7736 hand winding movement which was most notable used in Breitling Navitimers. The bezel is not an aluminium insert but appears to be one of the hardened ceramic type bezels. It is two tone blue and grey bezel, not ratcheting, and bi directional, blue dial, silver sub dials with red first 5 minutes.
