Lemania Vintage Hand Winding Chronograph.
Lemania vintage hand winding chronograph dating to the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. It is in good working order, keeping good time for its age at around 20 seconds per day and all chronograph functions work precisely. It is housed on a stainless steel case with screw on back. It has got a Lemania hand winding movement 1872 but is branded as 3872 and Bucherer. Lemania made movements for many companies including Bucherer as well as more famous brands such as Omega. The calibre 1872 was used in the Omega Speedmaster for over 20 years. This Bucherer branded movement was probably a left over batch that Lemania decided to ues in their own range of watches The dial is a slightly unusual layout with the date window at the 9 position rather than thee usual 3 position.
