It dates to around 1974 and this can clearly be seen though the 1970’s styling. This style went out of fashion in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. However this retro 1970’s look has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity of late and its not difficult to see why. The case is typical of the period with its elongated shape, high sides and thick edges. The dial is also typical with sunburst feel especially with long indices. The alarm indicator hand is bright contrasting orange. The crowns are original. The top crown winds and sets the alarm and the bottom crown winds the watch and sets the hands. There is a date at the 3 position. Works well with loud alarm sounding on cue. The alarm is more of a buzz than a bell. The buzzing alarms are always much louder than the bell types. The movement is an AS 1931. AS were most famous for building wrist alarm movements. Dimensions are as follows. Width is 36 mm excluding the crown and 39 mm including crown. Lug to lug is 40 mm and the thickness is 9 mm
