Innovations and peculiarities:
.
1. The dial features a secret map of Venetian "Sestieri" (neighborhoods) -visible only with the luminescent effect- with a little dot, in the Sestiere of Canareggio. This little dot signs the train station, which is the main door that you're looking when you get lost in Venice and you want to go back home. Yeah, to get lost in Venice is pretty easy. But that's one of things which make this City so magical.
2. In the caseback there's a written which says "Viva El Doge, Viva El Mar". This is the intro of the Ode to Venice, each Venetian knows that. Now you as well. For your reference, The title of doge was used for the elected chief of state in a number of Italian "crowned republics".
3 The color of the dial is a sort of mint-turquoise. Turquoise like the color of the water during the Pandemic, which without pollution has came back to its original color and transparency.
4. Engraved on the caseback, besides the Venice Skyline, we can find a Gondola (which is still the most typical way of transport in Venice) and a glass of Spritz. The Spritz is an Italian wine-based cocktail, commonly served as an aperitif in Northeast Italy. It consists of prosecco, digestive bitters and soda water. In Venetians Bacari (typical small bars that you find while walking in the little streets), it's still cheap. That's one of the main reasons why to get lost in Venice, it's more easy than what you think. #DrinkResponsibly
