Excellent condition, just serviced and rare Rizla + hand winding chronograph. Unusual promotional watch for the Rizla company to be given out to customers or could possibly be awarded to members of sponsored teams such as the Moto GP mortorcycle racing team. It has the model reference 1065 on the case back. The watch is in excellent condition for its age, dating to early 1980’s. The PVD case has no base metal showing through and there are no scratches in it. There are some minor marks to the crystal The movement is the hand winding Valjoux 7765 used in many hand winding watches of this period with the unusual 12 – 9 sub dial configuration making it instantly recognisable as the Valjoux 7765. It has the Rizla + logo on the dial. The lume marker at the 6 position is has only a small lume strip at the bottom of the marker. At first this appears that the lume has come lose and fallen off. However on close inspection there is a very distinct straight and even line on this strip of lume making it look like that this is deliberately applied as just a thin strip. In addition, there is no other missing lume on any of the other hour markers, so it is in good condition. Further to this, the lume is only thinly applied meaning it sticks well. Lume usually comes loose when it is applied thickly. The hands at first appear to to be replacements, but they are old hands as there is some patina under magnification, so it looks like it was made with the lume on the index markers and the hands in different colours
