Seiko Prospex Automatic Divers Watch - Sumo

Mint condition Seiko Prospex automatic divers watch, reference SBDC033 with blue dial and bezel. It is commonly referred to as the Sumo and in blue, otherwise known as the Bluemo to Seiko fans. The Prospex model stands for professional specification. It comes competed with box and papers, and unstamped warranty.it is a Japanese market model and not sold outside Japan, this one was imported directly from Japan. The Seiko “Sumos” (SBDC001, SBDC003, SBDC005) are the stars of the Seiko range. The popularity of the Seiko Sumo in Japan and the rest of Southeast Asia may have something to do with its affordability. But most Sumo buyers are not your typical consumer. In fact, a lot of them are even dedicated haute horlogerie collectors.
What you get from the Sumo is practically the total package of what most watch collectors look for in a timepiece. An in-house movement of robust and reliable quality, a lume that rivals the Super LumiNova of the Swiss, a depth rating that most of us don’t even dare reach, and most importantly an inherent exclusivity because of its being a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) only piece. So in essence, price is merely the secondary reason for its fame, and as much as I hate to say it, no other timepiece comes close to what you get in terms of value for money. Dimensions are: width 42 mm excluding crown, 44 mm including crown, lug to lug 48 mm, thickness 14 mm.
