Vintage Seiko Chronograph "Pulsations"

Vintage collectible Seiko Pulsations chronograph dating to approximately 1970 Model reference 6139-6020. Pulsations. This is designed for doctors to measure resting heart rate with its inner rotating 'Base 10' numeric system bezel. The bezel is recessed but can be rotated to allow the inner pulsations bezel to rotate. The corwn is also a quick set for changing day and date, a light push to change the date and a hard press to change the day. The Pulsations uses the 6139 movement as the famed Seiko "Pogue", which was the first automatic chronograph that was available for purchase in May of 1969 exclusively to the Japanese market. Dial is silver with contrasting red chronograph hands and comes on a replacement generic black leather strap. Width is 42 mm wide, 45 mm lug to lug and 13.5 mm thick.
