Heuer Bundeswehr 1550 SG Flyback Chronograph, Rare Small 3H Motif 

Heuer Bundeswehr 1150 SG military issue flyback chronograph manual winding flyback chronograph issued to the German elite military forces circa early 1970's. It has just been serviced, pictures of the service process in the link below. This is one of that rarest Heuer Bund watches It has the small Heuer logo and small 3H markings and the tine T logo just above the 6 on the dial. There are very few made with this combination. The 3H logo is used to denote the luminous content of the tritium, and the small T indicates that it is tritium. This is hand winding Valjoux calibre 230 and is one of the best designed Heuers ever made. The flyback function allows the chronograph hand to be instantly reset without stopping the chronograph. It has a large case and dial, with large numbers and chronograph sub registers for easy visibility - typical of a military watch. It has a bi directional non ratchet steel rotating bezel which also has large numbers and minute iterations. This watch was the inspiration for many modern military and aviation style watches. The case is brushed stainless steel, and the case back is polished stainless steel held down by four screws.
